We had a great stay but decided to leave a day early because of the long drive ahead of us. Even though we didn’t ask for a refund, we were credited for one night’s stay which was very much appreciated. Loved the area and the campground. Thanks KOA staff!

Traveled there to celebrate our 25th anniversary. Beautiful park, nice people . We had a wonderful time explaining Charleston and Isle of Palms.

We spent 5 nights here. Wonderful, clean and very well managed KOA. Nice covered swings throughout the campground. Extremely quiet. Really loved the free Plantation wagon tour.

Well maintained and run. Staff are friendly, helpful and a pleasure to talk to. The $5.00 breakfast was a nice surprise and the pancakes were totally awesome. We were in a large pull through spot and we did not need to unhook our tow vehicle, but we did as we stayed a few days. Close to many things to see and do.

Clean, efficiently run, staff was helpful and friendly. Enjoyed the walking trail and all the available equipment rentals. Location was great and very convenient to get to. GPS was confusing to enter and leave when exiting and entering route 17.

I haven’t been to many KOA’s, but I would not believe you if you told me there were any campgrounds better than this one! These people care about their customers and it shows! Fantastic facility and the friendliest people…love it here!!!

Fire pit was so close it would be under our canopy. 6x6 Timbers were in walkway by camper and we could trip up on them and they served no use. Neighbors sewer was only a couple of feet from our picnic table.

We reserved & paid for 3 nights. Yet we got a call saying we cancelled: NOT TRUE! We corrected that unilateral cancellation by the KOA only to receive a notice after 1 night that we cancelled: NOT TRUE. I called & Wilson said he JUST presumed we canceled since we drove off in our RV & many leave early forfeiting money. We, as many, tour in our RV. Do you unilaterly cancel to increase profits?

Had a fun stay and we loved the dog park. Our fur babies were very happy there. Would definitely recommend this KOA.

Facilities were great. All employees we dealt with were very knowledgeable, helpful and polite. My only problem was too much dust. Not enough concrete and grass. KOA was in a great place to go touring and eating! � Freddy

This campground was wonderful! Everyone was so welcoming and helpful!! The property was beautiful! We wish we could have stayed longer…. We will definately be back!!

We reserved 3 nights & paid, but later got a call saying we cancelled and I said not true. After our first night, we went to tour in our RV & got a notice of cancellation. I called and the manager said he just presumed we were leaving, saying lots of people leave early, forfeiting their money. Is this how the park increases profits: Unilateral cancellations to keep payments & re-lease for profit?

Fantastic park! Careful taking the "Easy access to Rt 17", NOT for Class A as the oak trees hang over the road and scratch the coaches paint. I had to ride the center of the road and still hit the branches.

Beautiful. Hospitable. Saw 5 deer the morning of our departure. They were running in and out of the woods beside the lake. One was a large buck with big antlers. Three jumped in the lake and swam to the other side. Awesome start for the day.

The employees were always friendly and helpful. The lake is clean and beautiful and the hiking trail was great for me and the dog for our daily walks. The Halloween decorations were fun and the trick or treating by the kids made it feel like a real neighborhood.

The Mount Pleasant/Charleston KOA is our favorite campground. We try to end our camping year by staying here. It is a beautiful and very well managed campground. The landscaping, activities and personnel are just phenomenal. If you have the opportunity to stay here I highly recommend it. You will not be disappointed!

Stayed in an RV. Every time we have been here- great location, friendly staff, level spots- even the gravel ones. 50/30/20 amp easy access all hookups easy access. Little shop open till 9pm.

Wonderful staff!! Facilities are perfectly clean and tidy. Lots of things to do at the campground. Their communication both email and messages is the best I have ever seen!!

Wow, been to more than 150 campgrounds in this amazing country over the past 20 years. I'd rank this in the top 5. Excellent views, amenities, and service. We will come back! Just will avoid swimming in the lake.
