We loved that although it was not as woodsy as it used to be (that’s kind of unfortunate!), it was not crowded, and very quiet. We loved that!

Nice site and the fire pit area in the woods behind was great. Please fix the pool! You shouldn't have to travel to another campground to swim. The grounds crew that escorted us to our site and were around during our stay were amazing! Give them a raise they work hard and are wonderful to interact with.

Very nice ,only one thing site's are hard to get in to with big campers are's as a 32ft bumper pull.. we are camping across the street in a few weeks bigger site's

Office was quite a distance from where our site was. Pool was not open, no amenities whatsoever! Campground is in need of repairs. Not even close to any other KOA that I have stayed in, and extremely overpriced for the conditions and lack of amenities.

Could be a great place , great service, great location, amazing river, but pool closed and People drive way too fast 10 to 15 mph. Unsafe for young children. Only a small sign for speed in the river section. Management should make it a priority.

I didn’t know that there were two different areas in the campground separated by main road. I was not offered possibility of choosing my camping space. The two pools were closed, the camp store was in the other area. Toilets had spiderwebs and hand paper and soap were not replenished. I liked that there was recycling pickup by the staff and that they deliver wood for the campfire.

It appears that this rv park is run by a bunch of kids. Checking in I was greeted by a young man who just giggled the whole time. Our escort to our site was by another kid and during our stay all I saw were very young people. The laundry room had only one operating dryer. Big takeaway is have someone who is little more professional by the face of the park at the front office

Nous avons trouvé que le KOA situé au 5591 route 86 était tenu plus propre que celui où nous étions campés, côté rivière. Mais sommes toute, un très beau site et un excellent service!

Came up IM weekend. Enjoyed our stay. Miss the grocery, wine and beer that the old owners provided. Firewood was overpriced. Loved the nightly trash pickups. Bathrooms were clean

I want to start off by saying that we enjoyed our Wilmington trip after our move to the Woods side of the campground and the trails, with the campsite were wonderful. I wish there was more to say I enjoyed, but this KOA had nearly nothing for families in the avenue of activities or means in which you stay in the park to be entertained. No pool, terrible wifi, no kid centered activities nothing.

This place went above and beyond for us! We had trouble with our trailer when we got there. They were accommodating and helped us get another 4 nights added on to our stay so we could get it fixed. Very nice shaded sites. Also trails right out of the campground! Will definitely be coming back. Thank you to the lovely ladies and gentleman in the office for all you did! Appreciated!

Overall a very pleasant stay. The shower house and playground could stand a refresh. But the sites were in good shape and the staff very pleasant

Staff very helpful and friendly. Pool was not open, dissatisfied about that. Don’t want to get in the car to swim each time. River front area nice to camp near. Very clean campground and bathrooms. Will return if in the area.

Site location was great, but tightly spaced, not very private. Will also mention it wasn't very level and a little rooty, luckily our camper is small, so made it work. Great view of the river and short walk to the always clean bathroom. Nice having full hookup for our teardrop. Staff driving around to pickup trash and recycling was a nice surprise. Looking forward to returning next year.

So aside from the new high cost, it was good. We are afraid they will re-arrange the sites and mess up a good thing though. This campground is never full except a couple hoildays yet it seems they want to create more expensive sites. WHY? We have noticed only the well-heeled stay here anymore. The shower stalls in the 100 acres area now have mold growing behind the shower door; they don't look.

The lay out of the campground is very inconvenient. To get to the store or game room you have to travel down a busy road and cross it. The pool is empty and there was no warning ahead of time that it would be. The black tank drain for the neighboring site was very close to our site, in plain view. Pretty disgusting, we did not want to eat outside because of it.

The local beach is a wonderful addition to the stay with the pools closed. The location is pretty, Dillon, Jeff and Chloe were wonderful, as were those others I ran across as they worked the park. A relaxing stay in a beautiful spot!

The young men in golf carts were fabulous! Very helpful and friendly! Top notch service. Campsites had nice wooded area for campfire behind campsite. However, for what is being paid for the site, mini golf should be included- not $6 per person. Pool was not available- had to drive down to other KOa to go in their small pool. Kayak rentals were $20 for 2 hrs. Wilmington beach has them for $15!

We stayed in the 100 acre wood side. Please leave those sites as they are...big and wooded. They are gorgeous and a reason for us to go back!

We've stayed at North Pole CG several times in the past years , always at site #35 on the 100 acres side.. good satellite TV access..great hiking trails for our Dane.. We'll return there soon!

Loved our site, campground was so peaceful, staff members were more than wonderful and very friendly. Only reason I gave it 4 stars was the pools were closed, the cable was not available and only 1 working washing machine that was stinky so we paid full price for amenities that were not available. It was nice that we were allowed to use the pool at the whiteface KOA though.

Staff were great at check in and guided us to our site. Site was clean and hook ups were well place. The sites are a good size and left us with room to enjoy the trees. Very happy with our stay here and we will stay here again.

Suck a beautiful ride up there and the Scenery is breathtaking, during winter and every other season....so peaceful and relaxing I love it
