The host were very nice the campsite itself was level, more dirt than gravel. The voltage was lower than we like to see, below 110V at times. Not that familiar with other facilities in the area, and ended up here when a soggy camp site at another park would not work. We stayed here in a 37 ft. diesel motorhome.

Great location that central to Warren, Jamestown, Bradford, and other interesting places to visit. Clean and well organized, but don’t expect to watch TV for there is no cable.

We really enjoyed this campground. The sites are in the woods and have a good amount of space between sites. The location is serene, and beautiful. If you’re looking for activities to do at the campground, this isn’t the place for you. Besides a pool, and small playground there isn’t anything else to do onsite. Worked perfectly for us and We will definitely be back ���

I thought it was pricey, they did not do a pancake breakfast at all on Sundays, no one ever came around and got our garbage. It was not like some of the other KOA's that we have stayed at. It was nice and secluded location, that part was very nice. No one bothered us at all,

Nice campground. Great proximity to Kinzua SP, Allegheny National Forest and about a 20 minute drive to Bradford, PA. It is a good basecamp to explore other areas and sites around the PA Wilds.

Had a great time, the KOA was as we expected it to be. We looked for bears and did not see any, was really disappointed that there were black bears at the dumpsters in the evenings and we missed them.

The campground itself is very nice it is definitely wooded very Shady they have A nice size pool convenient camp store lotsa wildlife if you're afraid of bears don't go there however they could do better with the Wi-Fi Wi-Fi was not available near our camping Area. nothing like any other koa weve been to nothing for the kids to do. no trash pick up. never seen staff. store was never opened during the hours posted. will not go back witch sucks since we're only 2 hours from there. very misleading koa.

I would have liked to have the pool open earlier and stay open longer. also they shut the bathroom down for an hour, I waited until after the allotted time and the bathroom was still being cleaned. the fire pits could be made so that you could cook on them easier the pit is to short.

This appears to be an under used camp. Great for getting away from the busyness of life, but could use some updating.

We like this campground because it is quiet and clean. There were about 40 of us gathered for a family reunion. What better place than at this KOA. Thanks to the management for taking care of us. We'll be back.

The grounds were very nicely kept, very clean and large pool. Well stocked store! Great place to stay if you are planning on hiking or kayaking. The staff was very helpful with locations of everything. The permanent people are friendly and wave when we walk . Extremely quiet and peaceful, just what we needed!

Upon arrival we were told that there was wifi but good luck connecting to it. Why advertise it if it doesn't work? We were also downgraded from a pull thru site to a back in site and was charged the same amount! My 18 year old son drove up after work and was not permitted in the campground, was told I didn't have a reservation there. I had to go to the office and practically beg to get him in.

The camping spots were good, the bathrooms were clean but very ancient, quiet time was not enforced, a large ethnic group came and partied till well after midnight making it impossible to sleep, this was not the owners fault but they should have enforced their policies. The owners also weren't very friendly having yelled at our children for minor infractions,all in all I would stay again

It was our first time with a Travel Trailer and First Time at a KOA site. I’m glad we chose Kinzua East. The owner and staff were incredible . The bathhouse was spotless and well stocked Gary right from our arrival was amazingly helpful to us Newbies. The price was perfect for the offerings. We will be back! Thank you , Gary & Sons. Very friendly staff and quite helpful. We upgraded our site to one with sewer, which was helpful. Seemed odd that the stones from the old fire ring remained after a new one was built.

Quiet peaceful campground. Sites were large and shaded but a little challenging to back into. Kids had a good time, but there were no activities for kids.

Owner is very nice. Campground condition ok but not quite up with other koa's I've stayed at. Had a nice shaded back in site. I would stay again but not on my list of favorites.

Very rural KOA. Poor bathrooms. No cell service and wifi is non existent. We are KOA VIPS, this was our 8th KOA this summer & around 30th in the last 2 years. I would rate this one our least favorite. Shuffle board, table tennis, and pool and very old. No dog park. Tired to use my points and was told they don't know how to apply them. Does not meet KOA standards.

Nothing at all to do at this campground other than the pool. Heavy tree cover so last fall’s leaves that cover the campsites never dry out. The playground equipment is dangerous at best. On the other hand the owners/staff were very friendly and know a bit about the area . Also,The Kinzua area is absolutely beautiful with lots of sights to see and some great MTB riding close by.

The sight was a back in sight. I had to pull into a grassy area that I had to use 4WD to get out of. I then had to back down the road and squeeze into a sight barely wide enough for my rig. The sight was VERY natural as the leaves from last fall still covered the ground. The pool had very limited hours and there were not any activities planned for the weekend before the fourth. Owners were nice.

We love this place . It was our first time and we couldn’t believe how great it was. Gary the owner was so helpful and friendly. The camp site was very big and full of trees. We will be back soon.

Location was very good, lots to see in area and camp sites large and quite. However, No Sat. or even TV reception. Picnic tables dirty & green, had not been cleaned since??? Bathroom near our site had not been cleaned in days. Ground was totally covered with leaves since last fall, dangerous to have camp fire. Charged adult for a 16 year old w/o notice. Will not return.

The owners went above and beyond with helping my husband park rv. The bathrooms were immaculate. I would return there in a minute. Pool area was well laid out. Love that they have managed this koa for 33 years. Thanks for making our first rv camping trip a great success.

Campground was extremely quite. A great place for a solitary stay. The pool was very clean BUT not heated. The kids playground was minamal is size and extremely dated. The campground claims to have wi-fi.We were located one site away from the office. The signal was intermittent or totally nonexistent. As noted there were no activities for the young ones. We were somewhat disappointed.

The campground was beautiful, the owner was extremely friendly and helpful. The sight was nice and level. However there was a huge tree that prevented the full opening of our awning and a private cabin 40 yards from our fire ring.

It was a very nice and clean. It's a great campground for people who enjoy quietness. There was no planned activities for kids and the pool was closed. We did make the best of it and the kids still enjoyed . We would go back again

This will be my second year fall camping at this KOA. Great place to get away for a weekend especially when I leaves are changing! Staff was extremely friendly and very pleasant this year and last (I only stayed one weekend and it felt like they knew me this year). Some of the sites can be challenging to a new driver, but staff is always more than happy to help get you setup. I would highly recommend as it's family friendly and all around a good time.

Update: I originally gave this place a 4 out 5 4 years ago because of it not being updated... this was the beginning of our travel trailer experiences. After visiting over 20 campgrounds since my original review I am upgrading it 5 stars. The people that own this place are an example of the original campground experience. Quiet. Wooded. Peaceful. Hard working. The real "salt of the earth" people. These place is a piece of heaven. Do not give notice to the bad reviews. Those reviews are from people looking for the galmping experience. This is not that. This is camping. Go enjoy it. Thank you for having us. We will return. God bless. Original review: The only reason I'm giving it 4 and not 5 is because it has not been updated in a long time. Other than that, everything is in good order. Clean campground. Exactly what a camping trip should feel like. Middle of the woods. Gorgeous. So isolated that you feel a little nervous in the pitch dark woods. Great experience
