Quiet Hours

Quiet Hours
We are known for having a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere and would like all campers to be courteous towards their camping neighbors.
Every night:  10 pm – 8 am
Holiday Weekends:  11 pm – 8 am
During these hours we ask that you make sure that your entire party is at your site, that you keep your voices down, and any music must be shut off during quiet time. If you are found breaking these rules you may be asked to leave.
We do not allow firearms, weapons, or fireworks on the campground premises at any time, if you are found with any of these, you will be asked to leave.

Firewood

Firewood is available for sale at $10 per bin during store hours. Please be aware -  Pennsylvania does not allow wood being brought from out of state - please follow this rule, as we have already lost all our Ash trees due to disease.  Thank you and see you around the campfire!

Pool Hours

Pool
Our pool is open from Memorial Day to Labor Day, and the hours are 10 am – 8 pm. We do not have a lifeguard, therefore children under 14 years of age are not allowed into the pool area by themselves. You must be at least 21 years old to watch someone younger than 14 in the pool area, and if you are found not following these rules and those listed on the pool gate you will be asked to leave the pool area.

Other Important Information

Bikes
We do not rent bikes on property, but you are allowed to bring your own bikes to use on the campground. Important; PA LAW states that anyone under the age of 14 MUST wear a helmet when riding a bike; this applies to anyone on campground property. If anyone under the age of 14 is seen riding around without a helmet on, they will be asked to wear one or stop riding. We have a lot of hills and gravel roads on our campground and your safety is important to us!
Motorized Vehicles
Golf Carts, ATVs, and motorized scooters/bikes are not allowed on the property. You will be asked to not use these during your stay if you bring them on campground property, and may be asked to take them off if the rules are not followed.
Firewood
According to State Regulatory Laws, you must not bring firewood into Pennsylvania from any other state. Due to the spread of the Spotted Lantern Fly in Pennsylvania, campers are NOT ALLOWED to bring firewood onto Honesdale/Poconos KOA.   We DO sell firewood on the property, it is $10 per bundle and can be purchased in the store upon arrival, or anytime throughout your stay with us.

All our adult guests must register themselves and their children and sign a waiver for each.  You cannot enjoy the campground until a waiver is signed at the camp store.  Want to sign up ahead and save some check-in time? A waiver link will be sent via text on the day of arrival to the cell phone number on the registration.  Each adult and child must be added separately.

Late Check Ins

If you have a reservation and arrive after Office Hours, we will send you an updated text just before the store closes to give you a One Time access gate code to enter the park after hours.  Then you can proceed up to the camp store located to the right of the stop sign.  The lighted Night Registration sign is just to the left of the store door.  Look at the 'Current Reservations' slot for your campground map with your last name, site number, and campground information and how to get to your site.  We do ask that you come in the following morning, before 10:30 am to sign our waiver and get your car pass.

We are not perfect - if you cannot find your map and/or name - please look in the 'Available Sites' slot for the type of site you would like to be on, and just proceed to that site via the map direction, then let us know when you come into the store in the morning.

Visitors/Groups

Pennsylvania regulates that we keep track of every person that is on the campground property at all times for safety purposes.  Honesdale/Pocono KOA Holiday allows 10 people per site, which includes campers staying in your RV/Tent/Cabin plus any visitors you may be having.  Parties are not allowed on RV, Tent, or cabin sites.  Please refrain from inviting more than the site allows, your guests will be turned away at the gate.  If you have a group of RV/Tent/Cabin sites booked, please ask for permission to gather together - the answer may be no if we are too busy or you may be asked to rent the pavilion for gatherings.

Meet Your Hosts

Tim & Debby Cartmell

We are campers ourselves & we love camping! We've been owners for 15 years and look forward to having you join us!

We love having you stay with us and we love to camp!  We have camping envy every summer as we run our campground - but love watching you all enjoy yourselves!  But not to worry, we do get out off-season to enjoy some camping ourselves.

We've been in the Pocono area for 15 years, but you will hear Tim say he made Funnel Cakes at the Pocono raceway as a teenager, driving each weekend from Berks County.
The east coast mountains are great for getting outside and having fun, and we try to provide lots of fun here at the campground.

We know that you have many choices as to where you camp and hope that you choose us, Honesdale/Pocono KOA, when you plan your next trip.

Tim & Debby
