I was very disappointed, it said sleeps 6 but that was false it would only fit 4 comfortably, the futon was small,ripped and had no cushion, it needs to be replaced, we also were invested with ants , didn't have anofe towels, paper towels, the water main broke and we were left with no water.i paid over $350.00 . And feel it wasn't worth it. I would like some compensation for my disappointment.

We lost water in the morning, so we couldn't use the bathroom or shower. The outside bathrooms were locked too. It wasn't advertised that nothing was open yet- it should be mentioned. We did not bring dinner with us, we were planning on eating at the restaurant. The pull out couch had a miserable "mattress" on it. The KOA itself was absolutely beautiful & well maintained.

The Diamond Lodge at the KOA was incredible. We walked in and everyone was overjoyed with the amount of space, the beautiful decor and the amount of sitting spots! It's a cozy place to have a fire and play games with friends and family, and there were plenty of beds to sleep in. We had breakfast on the back porch by the creek and it was beautiful.

If wasn’t for our terribly uncomfortable mattress of the pull-out sofa, I would rate our stay a 5/5. However, the mattress of the pull-out sofa was near unbearable. You could feel every single spring and the mattress was so thin, you could feel the bars of the frame beneath. Time for upgrade! Otherwise, the campground was very accommodating and had everything you could possibly need!

What a splendid visit! Josh was especially helpful and a joy to chat with! People like him really make KOAs super friendly and keep us coming back! The facilities were clean and well supplied. Can't wait to come back when the fishing is on!

We had a great time and everyone was very friendly. The only two things that could be improved would be to strip and redo the floor in the cabins and mattresses were very uncomfortable. But neither of these would effect us as far as our return. It was still very fun

Our site by the creek was very nice. We wish it was a little warmer to have enjoyed it more. We couldn't make out the loud speaker announcements, so we didn't know what they were about.

Glamping pods were great - only recommend to put a few hooks up to hang clothes or a little shelf by each bed for phone / book/ glasses

Rented solar cabin 2 and had an amazing time. The staff were very friendly and beyond helpful with everything we needed. Will definitely be coming up there again.

beautiful spot! The men's bathroom had an out of order sign on it all week....but i don't know what was out of order as i did use the shower.

Family had fun! Everything was clean and staff was very nice. We like they have some amenities especially the common area with fire pit and Cornhole. We juts wish our small cabin had a bathroom but understand there are all options for that. Perhaps a quicker safer pathway to the bathrooms would help.

This was my 2nd trip to KOA Herkimer. Again stayed in the wood cabins near the mining area. Even though there was a lot of wet damp April weather, my visit was wonderful. The entire staff was warm and kind. The room was very comfortable and the people who I met were nice. For sure, I will be back.

This is a beautiful resort. If you can’t find something here to amuse you . . . . Our only issue was with the laundry room. Too many of the washing machines were out of order and too many of the dryers also were out of order or just did not dry the cloths. Other than this you could spent a week here.

Perfect check in and Put process with clean facilities and comfortable bed!!! The increased prices are the only downfall but seems everyone is in the same boat! The stay was perfect!

Drove 4 hours to go to first crack.Sure would of been better if KOA was the open day before mines.Made it too long of a day and I won't ever do that again.KOA lost money, could of had 2 night stay vs 1 .Food for thought,your welcome.

I’m usually up there twice a year to do some mining. No hot water in DK3 so they gave me a new cabin/ solar2. The emergence num. doesn’t work so you have to go to the office. Still no hot water, but were able to fix. Was told I’d be getting a refund for the inconvenience. Still haven’t seen that. No microwave in the room. Electrical wires exposed. I’ll be staying at red roof.

We came for the solar eclipse. It was fun as usual. But the tv in bed room did not work and the tv in the living room could be bigger.

The staff here are amazing. They are problem solvers and always have great attitudes. I'm always happy to roll up and see who is working the front desk, food areas, and the mine because it feels like seeing old friends. I'm in awe of how a group of people can really make you feel special. The cabin I stayed in this time was very comfortable and by the river. Really nice bath house too!

Very nice campground with very level and wide spots. We had a site on the river and it was very relaxing. Didn't have a chance to experience the activities, but will be back to do that another time.

My partner and I stayed in a camping cabin. The cabin was nice, near the water with the fire ring and picnic table. The latch and lock on the door were both very difficult to use. The cabin came with a small Roku TV but we couldn't get it to work at all. Assuming the remote batteries were dead. The men's bathroom near the cabins was out of order so we had to walk all the way to another building.

The staff was kind, helpful and amazing. The location and grounds were clean and wonderful. This was our first KOA experience and we are now only staying at KOA campgrounds from here on out. Thank you, Steve and family.

The cabin was super-cute! And the playgrounds were lots of fun for our 6-y.o. The only thing he didn’t like was the drinking water.

Stayed in the deluxe cabin 18. Enjoyed having our own bathroom and shower. Also, having wifi and TV made the stay even more enjoyable. Came up to stay for the eclipse and left wanting to stay longer. We will be back, but with more friends/family.

Very clean, hot showers but tent camping sites are stacked on top of each other and made our stay uncomfortable. Dan across the street at the miners' village was very kind and helpful. We probably won't camp again but would visit Dan and the diamond mine.

We were first timers and I fell in love with the cabins! so many options , perfect for couples and families even dogs!! the slooth bags were great value! We'll be BACK!

This place is amazing on all levels! Very clean, great food, great family fun! Smash burgers at the canteen, beautiful barn for venues, amazing dinners at the Minors' Table which will be open for brunch on Mother's Day... also a beer garden near the pool and creek as well as an ice cream shop. There is no need to leave once you arrive. Golf cart rentals and carts are available as well.

This a first time for all of us and was different. I had fun even though the rain had to remind us that we're powerless when nature brings the rain. Several diamonds were found including several decent sized ones. Prices in the shop were a bit steep for my budget but the little experience I've had with Crystals kinda shows what we all know...quality is not cheap. I do wish I had brought a few larger rocks back as I now have the means to cut into them. I did grab a few that should look nice after a session in the rock tumbler.

We camped here last weekend for their season opening. The staff was so very nice at both the Campgrounds and the Mines. Everyone we met was just absolutely just the most friendly and welcoming that we had an amazing time and immediately rebooked to come back when it's a tiny bit warmer. Despite having a rainy and cold weekend, the view of the creek was lovely and my kids had a ton of fun at the mines and my little guy loved the playground.
