Great park and friendly staff right on the river so you can watch people fishing and floating only bad part is its close to freeway so lots of noise

I really liked this KOA, conveniently located, right on the Yakima river. Clean bathrooms and showers. Only real knock was the pool was advertised to be open through Sept and was already closed for the season, would of been nice on the upper 80 degree days of our visit. At $85 a night was the most expensive KOA I have ever stayed at, Flagstaff was $65 the first night and $50 each night after.

Neat, tidy, convenient to the freeway. KOA provided the opportunity to move to a full hookup site upon arrival.

Facility is top notch, staff efficient and friendly, Good sized sites and level. However , I thought the total price with tax, at $80 for a water and electric site for one night , was prohibitive, plus the traffic from the interstate did not allow for a good night’s sleep.

Nice area, convenient. Disappointed in no pool and we were not told our power connection would be only 50 amp or 20 amp. We had 30 amp rv.

We were only traveling through, but wished we could have planned a stay. Very nice dog park, and also a trail down by the river. Next time will will choose a back-in next to river. Clean bathrooms and adequate showers.

Friendly staff, clean park, gravel drives and rv spots. Many spots to visit like Ellensburg, Leavenworth, Cle Elam and Roslyn. KOA is right on the Yakima River. Lots of opportunities to fly fish. Catch and release only. No swimming or tubing on the river. Weather was overcast most mornings with sun in the afternoon. I would stay there again and maybe longer.

It's nice to see this KOA being updated. We love the location and the new sites are beautiful! The K9 park is one of the best!

I was disappointed that the pool was not open! That was the main reason we came there, because it was suppose to be open until October 1st it was said due to budget issues it closed early! Truck traffic at night made it very hard to sleep! Otherwise a good place to stay

The park was clean and well-maintained, but right off the freeway off-ramp, which made it so loud sleep was nearly impossible.

Looks nice, fairly well maintained, and is a pretty setting on the river, however it is VERY close to I-90 and the road noise is loud all night long. Also, no cable, only a couple channels via antenna, and the WFi was really really bad so I had to use Verizon, which also got bad reception there. Needed to research and make reservations for the next leg of our trip and couldn’t.

We love the Ellensburg KOA and have been coming for thirty years. They maintain the grounds beautifully, have great employees and amenities (pool, volleyball, a small store, glamping teepees). The big draw for us is that it is on the Yakima River.The location is fabulous as it is close to old town Ellensburg and near many trails. We love to hike. There is road noise but we ignore and drown it out.

Staff friendly, campground clean. Not a fan of two premier patios back to back on the same paver pad separated by a small section of fence held in place by a rock.

Beautiful grounds. $90 side by side hookups and shared patio is rediculous.

Great! Arrived an day early due to escaping smoke. They were great and let us transfer our reserved site to ask day earlier.

A good place to stop in. The laundry did not have a coin machine and it was a bit expensive for a campsite. $71. But that's kind of what you get with a KOA, and this specific campground probably doesn't have much control over that. They had a very clear area to register for the night if you came in after hours, which we did.
