General Campground Information
We want you, our Guests, to have the most amazing camping experience of your lives! Relax, have fun, stay safe, and enjoy camping at its best.
Winter Store Hours
We do not keep regular store hours during the Winter season; February 15, 2015 to April 1, 2015. If you have a reservation, please look in the Night Registration Box located to the left of the main office door. You will find a car tag with your name and camp site number on it attached to a campground map. If you DO NOT HAVE a reservation, please complete a Registration Envelope located in the Night Registration Box and place it in the "Nite Box" slot.
We are fond of pets and we don't want to see them lost or hurt. Please keep pets on a leash at all times when they are outside your tents and RVs and DO NOT LEAVE THEM UNATTENDED. Other folks will appreciate your efforts to clean up after them. Please refer to the site map for the designated dog areas and KAMP K9. Pets are not allowed in cabins, office, restrooms, game room, familty room, pool or on playground due to health codes (except service animals). NO VICIOUS DOGS ALLOWED.
Our pool is open Memorial Day Weekend through Labor Day Weekend. Pool hours are 10 am to 8 pm. All children under the age of 12 must be accompanied by a parent/guardian.
Please park on gravel pads. Do not park on the grass. Check the office for additional parking available in the Outback Area.
Check-In and Check-out Times
Check-In Times are: 12 Noon for Tents and RVs. Cabin Check-In Time is 3 pm. Check out time is always 11 am. We offer late Check-Outs for an extra fee: $5 for a 1 pm check out, $7.50 for a 3 pm check out and $10 for a 5 pm check out. Anything after 5 pm is considered adding another day to your reservation.
Visitors are allowed as a courtesy. They must obtain a car tag at the Office upon arrival and park in the guest or outback parking areas. They do not have swimming or shower privileges. If they wish to swim or shower, they must register and pay at the Office. All visitors are asked to be out of the Campground by 10pm when Quiet Hours begin.
Please do not leave campfires unattended. Please extinguish/douse your fire before retiring for the evening and leaving your site for the day or before you check out of the Campground. We will allow campfires at our park unless we are under a County or State-wide Burn Ban. Occasionally, if it is extremely windy/gusty in our area, we will ask our campers not to light a campfire and will refrain from selling wood in our Camp Store. PLEASE DO NOT PUT TRASH OR GARBAGE IN THE FIREPITS - WOOD ONLY.
Quiet Hours at the Ellensburg, WA KOA are from 10 pm to 8 am. We have a security guard on duty Friday and Saturday nights to enforce quiet hours. The security guard is also on duty Thursday and Sunday nights during Memorial Day, 4th of July and Labor Day Holiday weekends. All guests will observe quiet hours as part of campground etiquette. Any guest who does not abide by quiet hours will be asked to leave the campground without a refund. The County Sheriff will escort you out.
Please observe the 5 MPH Speed Limit throughout the Campground at all times.
Minor Children are to be in their campsite after dusk. The playground is for daytime use only. Parents and/or guardians are responsible for all actions of their children. Parents please closely monitor your children at all times.
We do not allow the use of fire works in our park. Over the 4th of July Holiday, Rotary Park in Ellensburg hosts a fire works show at dusk. You can obtain directions to Rotary Park in the Office.
Site Rental is to be paid in advance before entering the Campground. Rates apply to one RV and one tow vehicle and 2 people. There will be an extra charge for additional vehicles and campers. $10 fee for tents on RV sites with RV. Not all sites are large enough to accomodate a tent. See Office for details.
We do not allow the use of Generators in our Campground.
Trash and Debris
Your site is your responsibility. Trash and debris will not be permitted. Please see your Site Map for Trash Cans/Pet Waste bins. Smokers, please dispose of cigarette butts in one of our ashtrays or trash cans.
You may smoke at your campsite. There is no smoking allowed in any of our cabins, office/camp store, restrooms, game room, family room or in the pool area. Please dispose of your cigarette, cigars, etc. in one of our ashtrays or trash cans.
