RV Reviews

Toilet paper out in a stall, lighting problems in restroom. All staff friendly and helpful but frustrated in attempting to do their jobs. Unable to reserve a spot for next year. I found a nail where I parked my vehicle. I hope there were not others on the ground. Apparently the new owner is only concerned with highest profits rather than welcoming regular customers for the rodeo season.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

Our bathrooms are checked, cleaned, and stocked throughout the day. Sometimes light bulbs need to be replace or other electrical issues come up that are repaired as quickly as possible. We are able to make reservations for up to 1 year in advance. We are open year round and welcome everyone, anytime

Picnic tables are not stable and need repair. Bathrooms also need better cleaning and repairs. Wifi isn't reliable at our campsite. Verizon coverage is not good either. Was told price is increasing over $100 for next year. We will not stay again

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

We provide a picnic table and fire pit at every site. Our picnic tables are maintained on a regular basis. Our bathrooms are cleaned throughout the day and are in good repair. Being located in the beautiful Kittitas Valley at the base of the Cascade Mountains, over the air signals can be spotty.

Our stay was fine. That value for cost is not there. Way overpriced for what you get in comparison to other KOAs.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

Our location, accommodations, and amenities cause our sites to be in high demand. We have many regular guests and groups that book up to a year in advance to return for multi-night stays. Compared to other KOA Journeys, what we offer is more like a KOA Holiday.

Great campground, well managed and maintained. Excellent staff that will go out of their way to assist and help with your needs. Had a pleasant stay

Alot of road noise. Staff was nice, maybe learn to give better directions. We stayed overnight in a 43 ft motorhome with a truck. Yes had to disconnect.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

As a KOA Journey, we are conveniently located off I-90 yet nestled along the serene Yakima River at the base of the Cascade Mountains. Our pull thru sites can accommodate up to 66 feet which is enough for most RVs with a vehicle.

Very nice park. Everyone was helpful and friendly. We would stay there in the future.

We had an Excellent stay, things to do galore here, quiet evenings, Hot showers, and the friendly hosts light a community fire nightly for all to enjoy.

Facilities are well maintained, clean and close-by regardless of where you are on the grounds. The campground is close to the freeway and on/off-ramps, so there is some constant, related noise throughout the day and night. Staff is friendly, courteous and professional.

BEAUTIFUL CAMPGROUND. THE ENTIRE STAFF WAS FRIENDLY. GREAT PLACE TO STAY.

We literally were here for 12 hours or so (pulled in at night and left in the AM) but the person on the phone that coordinated everything was so helpful and friendly. They actually answer the phone every time you call which is not always true for KOAs. Their night registration is so easy to see and understand and the showers were clean so that’s a plus! Would stay again.

It was next to highway, on a river you could not get into, dry as can be near a town that was as uneventful as it gets , with a pool barely bigger than the word pool itself. Showers were dirty. Bare bones, dusty and even though a friendly guy at the desk, he knew nothing about the area as he was from texas. Not living up to its description in kao. on any level. Avoid if you can, not with the mone

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

As a KOA Journey, we are conveniently located off I-90 yet not right next to it. The calm sounds of the swift flowing Yakima River are easily heard from our river sites. Besides launching a boat, no other water activities are permitted for the safety of our guests who can enjoy our heated pool.

We have stayed at many KOAs this summer and most KOAs have raised their rates and lowered their quality. This KOA charged $80 for back in, water and electric, no sewer. NO working WIFI and a Verizon dead zone. The small pool was, as usual, stuffed with children and babies. The staff did accommodate our request to move sites to get in the shade but we have really soured on the KOA experience.

Sites are close together, but for a one night stop over it’s fine. We have been stopping here for years and like the river sites.

"Deluxe" space we rented was gravel and dirt, no shade (105 degrees on arrival). The patio was at the back of our camper, couldn't even walk our on the pavers, they were 10ft behind the door.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

All our sites are level gravel sites. Deluxe sites include patio seating and a propane BBQ. We have shade trees throughout the park, especially along the river. If an RV is pulled in from the proper side, the patios are situated so they will be outside the front door and under the awning.

It's an okay place to stay. Not sure why, but they put us right next to another RV and there were a lot of other open spots. Our neighbor left and they put another RV in the same exact spot. Right next to us. Wouldn't it better to spread us out a little if there are open sites? The grass isn't watered. I remember it being green before. It's an okay place to stay, mostly due to convenience.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

Our sites are automatically assigned by the KOA system. "Open sites" could have an existing reservation that hasn't arrived yet. If brought to our attention, we would've been happy to move some RVs around. We water the grass regularly, and our public areas are green but we are a high desert climate.

Virtually no internet. 1 bar occasionally. TV signal was very poor with very limited channels. Basically only one channel to view with a poor signal. The utilities are installed at the front end of the site so required to buy power cord extension and fortunately had enough sewer hose, water and cable to reach. Very high price to say for such poor services. Left a day early.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

On river sites, the utility poles must be set back from the river so they are usually located near the middle of the site and we do loan extension cords free to our guests when needed.

We absolutely loved this park. We had a site right on the river and although it was a ridiculous heat wave, the rushing water had a cooling affect. The facilities were outstanding. Super clean bathrooms and showers. Our camp host was very accommodating as were the guys out and about who took care of everything! The only downfall is even though cell service and Wi-Fi says it’s available, it’s n

Our reservation got messed up but they went out of their way to make it right. Been going there for years and it will always be on our list of favorites.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

Mistakes happen and we appreciate the opportunity to make things right for our guests.

When we pulled in it felt like an Oasis. A hidden gem! Even though we stayed one night we wished we could have stayed longer. The willow trees and the river flowing by and the cleanliness of the whole park made us wonder why this isn’t a Holiday!

real nice park. we felt it was overpriced.

Terrible. I would avoid this fee grabbing campground: "Minimum 3 night stay--non refundable" Supposedly due to demand, but when we arrived there were less than 5 campers on site. Noisy beyond description, and way overpriced for a "Journey" ; we refused to check in, are trying to get our money back, and went on to stay at a KOA Resort with quiet setting, indoor pool, and plenty for the kids for LESS than this overpriced nightmare. Beware!
