Perfect stay for our family of five grandchildren. From the pool to the pizza delivery to our very clean patio that held everyone, it was a treat to discover this hidden gem close to everyone. Do not hesitate to book here - friendly and oh, so accommodating ! ! Iowa and all of its best accomodations.

The staff was so friendly and helpful! I had a problem with my camper and they came out and helped solve the issue. We love it there and will be back many times!!

Employees were friendly and helpful. Well stocked camp store. Grounds clean and very well kept. Onsite pizza was a bonus. Stayed in a cabin that was clean and inviting. Would stay again.

The hook- ups were not conveniently located in the sites for staying hooked to your trailer for a one night stay. Camper had to be pulled forward in order to hook up and to do that had to unhook from truck. Metal septic pipes not a good fit for septic hose.

Best KOA we’ve ever seated at, very clean, wider than average KOA siteS, great store and pizza shop, very friendly staff, patriotic flags and theme, individual sites level and solid…just getting every little thing tight.,

By far #1 Koa we’ve stayed out of about 13 ! Loved the American Flags for all the cabins! Property was beautiful! Lots of stuff to do! And the staff was amazing!!! Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Check-in was simple, they guided us to our spot, very quiet at night although the campground was pretty busy. Bathrooms were spotless and we loved our stay for just one night! We will come back if we are in the area again!

We come to des Moines every year to see our grand children. This year we wanted to take them camping for the first time. We stayed in a cabin. Kids had a blast. We plan on doing this every year when we come to visit. From montana. Thank you for the wonderful family time.

We stayed at one of the site and enjoyed it. It’s a very nice park at any site or cabin. In the area we will stay there for sure.

Unfortunately, our stay was just a quick overnight. The pizza and ice cream were delicious. When you called us the next day to let us know we left our water pressure gauge connected to your water system, that was the ultimate goodwill gesture. You held it for us until we returned to pick it up a week later. With your close proximity to the Racoon River Bike Trail, we'll be back to stay longer. Thx

It was a great location for a night or two but did not have good water pressure and cable only worked half the time. Way way too dusty for our liking. They need to pave the interior roads. That would be a must for us to stay here again

We stayed one night while traveling through. The park was very welcoming, awesome staff. Great store, fishing and many activities for kids and adults as well. Definitely recommend!

Everybody was friendly, the campground was very clean, the site was very nice with the patio. We really appreciated receiving text messages keeping us informed on the weather and events.

This KOA is large with lots of activities.only issue during the stay was very noisy neighbors. I realize I should have complained while we were there, but they were right by the office so I assumed the staff could hear it. continued (after midnight) and was mostly unsupervised children. We have never not been able to "relax" during our many stays. It was unfortunate. Never saw staff after 9pm

Park is very nice and clean. Love all the activities for kids since we bring our grandson with us a lot when we camp. Everyone is very friendly. The only thing I don't like is how early checkout is. We will definitely be back!

Love the pool and kids activities on Saturday were a hit. Cabin was very clean. Friendly staff. Appreciated the text about a tornado watch and where we could shelter. We have stayed here before and also at other KOA's across the country. We always have fun here! Lack of shade trees is disappointing at this KOA, and you don't really see small trees that have been planted to remedy this.

We had a very nice time. The cabin was a bit smaller than we thought it would be but we made it work. We also brought our own bedding, but missed the memo to bring our own towels so I had to run to the store to get towels. It is very nice that they bring everything we need to the cabin for us- pizza, firewood, etc. The gift shop is also very nice. I appreciate the dog park option too!

Clean restrooms, friendly staff. I also loved receiving the texts letting us know all the activties that were going on. And I really appreciated the weather alerts and letting us know there was a storm shelter available if needed!

This was our first time ever at a KOA. The campground was clean, the staff was great and overall amenities were amazing! The only downfall to our visit was the fire ring and picnic table at our site (site #67). The fire pit was completely in the ground not enabling us to use it and the picnic table was very wobbly and not in good condition. But overall, great time - we will be back!

The campground was very nice. However, extremely disappointed that the camper I rented was not the same as the photos online. Also the fact that the hot water wasn't working for me to take a shower in the camper. Kind of the whole point in spending the money I did was for the convenience of being able to bathe in my accommodation, otherwise maybe would of selected something else.

Nice place to stay, very clean, two big dog parks, lots for the children to do (we have none). We have a class C 30amp, lots of room both sides of site. Our site was not level but with blocks our unit leveled out. Did not see any concrete pads. Staff was very friendly and helpful. There were severe thunderstorms in area with lighting and pool remained open full of children, very unsafe.

The cabin and site that we stayed at was extremely clean. The office staff was extremely helpful and nice. The pizza and pool were our favorite!

We came in late about 10:30 at night. We found our packet and our site was supposed to be 005. When we pulled up some one was in our site. We called a number and an email and no response we did then roam the campsite and found a site. But I think there should be an after hours number We spend 30 mins late at night. The facility was fine but the check in and immediate service was not ok

The site was easily accessible, but we showed up for after hours check and they didn't have us on the list because we booked online. Glad they answered the phone after hours and were able to confirm the early afternoon online booking and get us a site.

We enjoyed our stay at the one room cabins, very clean. When booking the reservation, the lady on the phone was super helpful in getting us booked and making sure we knew where we would be going for our late check in. Bathrooms and showers were very clean! Thanks for a great stay!
