We spent 2 nights in this campground and enjoyed the quiet. Park was very clean. We forgot to remove our water regulator when we left, but the Staff found it and it is on its way back to us.

They were accommodating to us when we needed to move site. It is when one needs to do something different that places differentiate themselves. I will likely go there again.

Everyone is helpful and polite. Amenities are well kept and clean. Pool, playground, and jumping pillow were enjoyed by our kids. 6th visit to this KOA, won’t be our last.

Great place to camp! The sites aren’t very private, but we asked for a more secluded tent site if possible and they definitely chose the best spot for us! The staff are super friendly and helpful, clean/well maintained bathrooms + showers!

Great as always. We pay a little more but the kids love the pool and the giant pillow. We have now stayed in a tent, a cabin and a camper. We have an awesome experience no matter which way we stay. I also love that they have the cafe now! Very good breakfast

I’m giving this KOA a low rating because our full hook up site was ridiculously small. Could barely put out the awnings. Worse site I’ve ever had. Bathroom facilities were fine.

Very nice spot to stay and visit the area. The pool and kids’ areas were a plus for families. This KOA does it right, start to finish. Only thing I’d mention is reinforce the 5mph speed limit to guests, strongly. Over that and it causes lots of dust. Be respectful.

Our Scout Troop liked everything except could have had much better WiFi service because we wanted to upload pictures to our Troop website so families back home could see what we were doing each day.

Overall our stay was great, however the bathroom up front that used a code had a women’s toilet either plugged up or didn’t flush well. We tended to use the newer bathroom from then on and especially for the larger shower stalls. The cabin was quaint and exactly what to expect. It was great to have the 2 bunk beds so both boys 8 & 6 count have a top bunk.

The staff was friendly, everything was clean and as described. We enjoyed the pool, the playground and especially the pillow. I think the price was reasonable. My only complaint would be that the wifi was terrible unless you were right by the main building.

The office staff was amazing. We pulled in right as it was about to storm so we upgraded to a cabin rather than our tent site. The trampoline was sooo fun, even at the age of 53 : ). The quick food menu they offered was decent (but pricey). The location to Mt Rushmore and Crazy Horse was good. It gave you the opportunity to go through town and see the offerings. I'd stay again.

Amazing! Love the text feature with my reservation details. I received a call to confirm my late arrival with clear instructions to get to my tent site. Rocks were left behind to secure our tent in the sand. Bathrooms were clean and I like that a garbage bin was next to my site. Prime location near a grocery store, gas and town. Definitely staying here again.

This KOA was the best KOA we've ever stayed in. What made the difference for us was the staff. They went out of their way to provide the best customer service we've experienced at any campground in our travels. The icing on the cake for us was when the gentleman delivered our firewood to us in his pajamas. Having said that, it wasn't for the wonderful attire, it was that he did this with a smile even though we had not arrived back to the campground until well after the office was closed and it was already dark. This KOA is beautiful and has all the amenities that a traveller could ask for. It is located within a half hour drive of so many of the attractions in the area. We'll be back and we're hoping to have the same gracious and friendly staff to greet us again.

Our 2nd time camping here! Loved it 2 years ago & just as much this time! We splurged for a patio site this time & it did not disappoint. Nice, comfortable sites, clean restrooms & laundry area, well-kept grounds, super friendly & helpful staff (Special thanks to John & Janny, who were amazing!). Beautiful location & positioned perfectly to easily explore so much of what the Black Hills has to offer. Nice to be able to come back to your campsite after a fun day of exploration & be able to relax comfortably outside with a nice fire (some of the KOAs where we stayed on this trip, simply did not have enough room between sites to do that comfortably). We certainly hope to return...love this area & this KOA is one of favorite campgrounds in the US!
