The pull through RV sites are long, level, and easy to enter and exit. The property is well maintained; however, the dog park needs improvement. Also, the only pet waste receptacle that I found was at the dog park. Most KOAs that I have visited have several located through the campground.

It is a good campground. I was on a motorcycle and was pulling a tent trailer which isn't any larger than a large tent. I was told i would have to rend a pull through because it was a trailer. I have been using KOA campgrounds since 1982 using this tent trailer and have used tent sights with no problem. i think your policy isn't to good to put it mildly.

We had just a wonderful campsite at the Carlsbad KOA - it featured a really nice tiled patio, wrought iron chairs and table, a swing for 2, and a nice firepit that we used a few nights. Showers were clean and the water was hot. Clean bathrooms. Friendly staff. The cool summer evenings and mornings were wonderful. Great location very close to both Carlsbad Caverns and Guadalupe Mountains NPs.

Overall great - they were willing to move my dog and I to a tent spot that had some shade. I did notice a large amount of foxtails/grass awns in the dog play areas - would suggest a warning sign for pet owners (these can wreak havoc if they embed into the ears, mouth, nose, paws, long fur, etc).

The park is very rundown, the Wi-Fi never worked, they were short staffed so there was only two dumpsters on either end of the park, not garbage cans anywhere close. The park is next to a sewage treatment facility so if the wind was not blowing it stunk. Cannot believe it qualifies as a holiday park.

Lots of amenities and a quiet campground. It was 90° when we were there in early May, wish the pool had been open!

We were there for a month. The campground is dated but fairly well maintained. Definitely need to mow more. Quietest KOA we have stayed at. Huge rec facility. Most of the problems we had were with the area/location; not so much the park. About 20 miles from any town; barren, dusty, windy, smelly region. However, we highly recommend the Caverns and Roswell and this KOA is smack between them so.....

Friendly, easy access and maneuvering of large rv’s. A bit of a stretch to call it “Carlsbad” Kia…. Since it is almost 20 miles north of Carlsbad itself, and 40 miles from the main attraction of the area…. Carlsbad Caverns. However, it is the nicest Rv park in the area.

Quiet park. Bathrooms and laundry facilities good. A bit far from Carlsbad Caverns State Park if that is your reason to be in that area, but the KOA is very nice.

WiFi worked well, until evening( normal). Space ok. Good power. Some of the staff needs to follow the 5mph speed limit. Overall nice stay.

For a park your size, you should have more trash receptacle's through out the park. Also, your picnic tables are deplorable, you do not deserve to be called a Holiday. Finally, quit scamming campers with the early arrival charge, particularly when you are not full.

We've stayed at this campground a few times and it really looks like it has gone downhill since we were last there. Tons of weeds and thistles in the dog park, which was one of the reasons we used to love staying there, sites were not well maintained. Disappointed in the change. I'm sure we'll try it again but hoping gives some new found love to this location.

On the positive this facility had nice camp spaces that were good a good size , they offered campers hot coffee in the morning and the bathrooms were fair. On the negative side there were many people living in this campground. It would have been nice if they had a section for campers and another section for people that lived there. The sites where people were living were not cared for.

everything went real well except for a strong strange gas like odor in the middle of the night. this happened for a few hours, I walked around to be sure it wasn't just our RV and it wasn't. we are not sure what it was but it was Real Strong. not gas or propane. other than that everything was perfect. very nice and friendly staff and clean restrooms . thank you

Campground had wrong dates for stay, paperwork we had correct dates. Deluxe site should have had desert landscape (grass and weeds?) swing (bench that glided approx 2”) not worth paying the extra for. Showers dirty at one visit, would not return.

The park managers were very courteous and friendly. The RV spaces had plenty of room. Dog park was nice. Pool was closed. Laundry facility was clean. Park could have been mowed more often. It is a very quiet place.

Nice big lots; easy access, in/out and a quiet area. Camp was too far away from the caverns. I thought I was close because I was looking at the city, didn't realized the caverns were 20 minutes beyond that. But, I also expected more from a KOA; it said you have cable, but half the channels came in snowy and with lots of static. The clear channels might come only come on momentarily.

Reluctantly need to start with the negatives: (1) LOW WATER PRESSURE; and (2) WIFI (ALTHOUUGH AVAILABLE) had NO access AWEFUL. Can't blame them for the weather and will say the laundry and shower were average.

We used this campsite as a base to visit the Carlsbad Caverns. It is located a little bit further out of town than we expected, but it was clean safe and the staff friendly and helpful

Three days to explore Carlsbad Cavern NP and Roswell. We homebased out of the Carlsbad KOA. Nice people and well-kept park.

We enjoyed our stay and liked the swing and chair set. Y’all need to mow or pull up the weeds in the pavers tho— Internet was the worst ever. We enjoyed our stay but just a few suggestions.

This KOA was very clean. The staff was friendly and helpful. Sites were level and spacious. Would stay here again.

Great RV spots. Very spacious! Well kept, very clean. About 45 mins from Carlsbad Caverns. They do make pizzas on site, but the nearest restaurant or store is about 30mins. Still really great KOA

Showers were wonderful, staff was friendly. Liked the activity room and games. Price was reasonable. If anything was not right, I would say that shower curtains need cleaned routinely, they had mildew on the bottom
