In our park, it's all about the campers! And it's all in the family at Carlsbad KOA!
In 2005, Susan and Scott Bacher began their search for the "perfect" campground. Their dream was to build a family business for the enjoyment of *other* families. After looking all over the country, they found their park in southeast New Mexico -- and, in 2007, Susan and Scott became the new owners of Carlsbad KOA. Leaving their contracting and real estate careers in upstate New York, they headed west. A giant leap of faith!
At the time, the park was poised for expansion. In the years since, Carlsbad KOA has grown from big to booming and from "simply beautiful" to the #1 Family Campground in New Mexico!
In 2012, the family picture was completed with the arrival of Brian Bacher. Together with his parents, Brian is a year-round source of energy and enthusiasm. Big ideas, big dreams, and a commitment to be the best. "Treat your guests like family and they will always come home." :-)
