Totally enjoyed the stay. Lots of privacy in the campsites, under the redwoods. The owners were very helpful and fun. Love the beaches and Old Bandon. Will defiantly be back.
Sep 25, 2013
This campground was immaculate. The bathroom and showers were spotless. The outside sink was clean. Every small detail was taken care of. I would be happy to stay there again.

This is one of the best KOA's. So quiet, and so beautiful. Lots of trees. Everyone is so sweet. Always a smile. We will be back. Love the hosts. Great family. The campground is spotless. We had a very enjoyable time.

Staff very courteous and helpful. Campsites in trees and very clean. Has dog park where dogs can roam and play. Will definitely stay here again.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

Too bad you live across the United States! Hope you had a safe, memorable trip home.

Lovely treed area and very nice family that runs it. No complaints.

Very nice park, quiet and secluded.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

And when evening hits you can hear the roar of the ocean...even though it is five miles away. Makes for terrific sleeping!

Love this campground!
Sep 04, 2013
For the price asked I would expect more than 12 cable channels... Not even CNN? Your interet was also pretty useless, my laptop could not even connect to it. The campground itself was lovely and well maintained.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

Sorry you didn't enjoy your rural camping experience in the woods.
Sep 04, 2013
Loved the setting. Lots of trees, no paved driveways, etc. The sites were very clean. The staff was friendly. The pool and hot tub were a nice touch. We enjoyed it very much and we will be back to this location again.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

Glad you had some family time before school started back up. Go KOA!

It was very nice, comfortable, clean, the camp hosts were friendly and accomating. We enjoyed our stay and would recommend it to others.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

Four nights to explore the coast....but there's still more to see. Glad you had a good time!
Sep 03, 2013
Nice wooded spaces, very clean and quiet.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

Glad you could spend the holiday with us. :)
Sep 03, 2013
A nice little oasis in the woods. A bit close to 101, and there is not really a lot to do and see around the campsite. Otherwise, it is great.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

Lots to do in the area....apparently you missed my map. Next time!!
Aug 28, 2013
Staff was helpfull, good laundry, our site was a bit tight others looked fine, tv hookups were old and worn, pool looked murky, nice area, would stay again

Had a great visit, enjoyed the pool & hot tub, clean bathrooms & plenty of hot water. Campsite was great, just what we expected, pleasant & quiet. Our pets seemed welcome, no issues their. I was throughly satified with our camping trip at this KOA. Good location for visiting lots of cool places. Thanks....oh thought the train was a really great idea!

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

Hope you got a chance to use the new off leash dog park. It seems to be a big hit with the furry campers.
Aug 26, 2013
The campground was so beautiful and clean. The owners were very friendly We would not hesitate to send family and friends there!

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

Hope the family and friends can all come together! We love hosting family reunions. :)

Great stay but wifi was terrible everything else was great

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

Wish we could forward all these wifi comments to HughesNet...sigh....

We appreciated the map of the local areas they had developed for their guests. The camp is well situated to take advantage of the local coastal sights. A very clean camp with plenty of shade provided by the trees.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

Glad you got my hand drawn map of things to do in the area. The southern Oregon coast IS the State's best kept secret!
Aug 24, 2013
One of the best campgrounds we've ever stayed at. There aws something for everyone. The spots were level, roomy, treed and private. e all loved it. Thanks Bandon. We hope to be back !
Aug 24, 2013
My wife and spent a month traveling through California and Oregon and our stay at the Bandon/Port Orford campground was the best. The owner and staff of the campground was extremely accommodating and hospitable. I will recommend this campground to all my friends and family. I can not wait to go back and spend more time at the Bandon/Port Orford KOA. Rob and Irma Brooker Indio, California

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

Thank you so much for your comments! :)

Great camp spot. It is clear that the owners are onsite managers who are a bit staunch. Very secure. Very clean facilities. Did not like that the bathrooms/showers were closed for 2 hours (I think) for cleaning. Great game room. Our kids loved the train and the playground. Wi-fi wasn't good at all. Of the 3 KOAs that we stayed no one had good wifi.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

Sorry about the confusion on the restroom cleaning: the bathrooms are never "closed" just hours posted of when we clean. The showers DO close during those hours for about 30 minutes while we totally disinfect.
Aug 22, 2013
Large spacious site among towering trees. Quiet. A very nice place to get away

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

It is a great place to "get away"!
Aug 22, 2013
We loved the woodsey park. The clean pool & hot tub. Pancake breakfast and friendly staff

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

Did you have plain pancakes or pancakes with blackberries and whipped cream? That is MY favorite!
Aug 22, 2013
Remove wi fi or instruct the host on how to log on.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

We do our best to help folks but we are not computer gurus. Each piece of equipment is different and the Smart phones have us out smarted. Sorry!

A great park; loved the big trees (and no trains). Wi-Fi very slow and unreliable.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

Well....technically we DO have our little train in the evening hours. lol

Beautiful park! Quiet nights, and great pool and hot tub!

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

On those quiet evenings you can hear the surf even though it is five miles away!
Aug 18, 2013
Very pretty camp, we really enjoyed our stay.
Aug 18, 2013
I was just passing through. Seemed nice enough, lots of family things to do. Swimming, the train shuttle for the kids, pancake breakfast. Not enough space to walk my dog though, highway too close.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

Dog park?? Highway is by the entrance, you were camped two sites from the off leash park.

Such attitude at this KOA! Also at this and other KOAs, pets are not allowed in the office building, but the owners/managers allow theirs in the officees. A bit of hypocricy...?

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

Sorry but our five pound yorkie that sleeps in a file drawer behind the desk (inaccessible) is different than your 80 pound dog in a crowded store with adults and kids trying to register. We do have areas where your pet is welcome (our off leash dog park being one of them).
Aug 17, 2013
Another wonderful stay!! Thank you!

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

Windsurfers paradise!
Aug 16, 2013
had a great time and the kids enjoyed the pool.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

The pool and hot tub are a hit for sure!
Aug 16, 2013
Loved being nestled in the trees!!

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

It is a bit of paradise on the coast.
Aug 16, 2013
This is such a wonderful place. We enjoyed it so much we went to Newport for one night and decided to come back to this KOA to stay 2 more nights. The host is very nice and friendly.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

We were happy to welcome you back. Hope you can return again some day.
Aug 16, 2013
If you're going to advertise that you have wi-fi, be sure that it actually works.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

Actually we do state on our web that wifi is limited and will not handle movie, video, music, games, or large downloads. It is shared broadband so the system is slow in the evening when all the kids are engaged. Sorry!
Aug 15, 2013
Every thing was great. Host was very nice. Park is great. easy pill thrus. very shaded in all sites. WiFi not very good at all. But great place

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

Working on Verizon (I might have to dig the trench three miles from Langlois by hand myself!)
Aug 15, 2013
we had a nice stay. loved the train every evening. we'll come again!

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

Pictures of that train are posted in the Coos County museum. It has been giving kids (and adults) joy for many, many years.
Aug 14, 2013
Great place, great people. They even were able to put our friends in the site next to us. Thank you.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

Camping with friends and family makes lifetime memories.
Aug 14, 2013
Mainly like the location of the RV slots. Along with privacy, RVers have the opportunity of camping in the woods versus out in open. Overall, very cozy.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

It is definately not the "parking lot" RV park. Glad you enjoyed your stay.
Aug 14, 2013
Rv spots are very tight. Poison oak present everyhere. Park is beautiful and very clean. Staff was polite. We would stay again if we could find a more accommodating rv spot.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

We usually can change sites in our water and electric sites, please ask. Poison oak? Nope, it's "salal"....
