The attitude of the staff was horrible I was told the best rate available was $46.75 after 10% discount But, if if I could book online for less, The $10 Rewards I wanted to redeem would be taken off the online price I booked online for $42.93 after discount they took $42.93 off their $46.75 & took $3.82 0tt my $10 reward & gave me $6.18 credit My $42.93 stay cost $46.75 due to bait n swi

I was told there were no standard full hook up sites and was pushed into a 92 dollar a night "premium" site. When i got there i saw any number of sites that were full hook up vacant. I have stayed here before and have had a good experience. This is the second time this has happened at a KOA this year. The other was at the finger lakes in NY. The woman in the office needed an attitute adjustment.

We are so sorry to hear of your experience with the reservation call center. I have looked at your reservation, I adjusted the $85.00 that your paid for site 141, to the price of a full hook up site, if one had been available last night, $75.00 and issued you a credit for the difference.

I have to RAVE about the WIFI and Cell service! This KOA is in the middle of the South Dakota Badlands, and is THE best of any campground we have been to. We have been out since Memorial Day, and our stay was after Labor day. We didn’t use the amenities like the Pool or bathrooms. We have a Girard Tankless Water heater, so we can take real showers. Over all, this is a good campground,

Stayed for 2 nights to visits the Badlands National Park. Also was able to work using Wi-Fi and/or Verizon hotspot. Quiet location with great sunsets!

Staff was friendly. Very clean restrooms. Everything online said the pool would be open through 9/30 but it was closed and looked as if it had been closed for several weeks. We have two small boys and The pool was one of the main reasons we booked it.

Badlands KOA is an excellent choice for a basecamp to use for exploring the Badlands. There is a lot to do in the area and the staff is wonderful

Nice clean shady campground. All the amenities; easy to get in and out, plenty of room with grass and picnic table and fire ring in each space. The staff are all super helpful and very friendly. They even serve breakfast and dinner here if you don’t want to cook. It’s really a lovely campground and a little oasis in the Badlands.

Lots of mature trees for shade. They have sites for every need or limit ; plus cabins. Very close to the Park Loop and visitors center; or go south to Pine Ridge and Wounded Knee Massacre area. This was our fifth trip through here and our second stay at this KOA. We would stay again if in the area.

Friendly, Quiet & Wooded. This campground is one of the better KOA's we've stayed at. In addition having pancakes post Labor Day was a nice surprise.

I was very impressed with the staff at the Badlands/White river KOA. Some of the nicest and most helpful people you will ever meet. The campground was kept neat and clean. They have a huge covered pavilion for gatherings and they have a full kitchen where they do breakfast and dinner certain days of the week. The food was excellent, the service fast and affordable. I HIGHLY recommend this KOA

Great campground with super friendly, helpful staff. Managed to get us into a shady sight during a horrible heat wave! Free pancakes for breakfast are a nice touch. Only gave 4 stars because of the drinking water. It’s the worst we’ve ever encountered in all our years of camping - desperately needs filtration. Bring bottled water if you stay here. We would stay here again if in the area.

Our patio site was great! Spacious and clean. Nice trees around the site, too. I very much enjoyed coffee on my patio in the morning with the comfortable chair and table. The firepit was nice at night. The pool was clean and wonderful after the warm hike in the Badlands. Good food choices available as well! Plan to visit again!

From the advertising on the web it appeared that the camp was inside the NPark, however it was not. It was close , but I think they used the city “Interior” to there advantage. Also the KOA was very dated. Clean but could definitely use a facelift

Nice campground just minutes from Badlands NP. Sites were in good shape. Water hookup was right next to the next sites picnic table, so that was a little strange. Pool was nice. Food service at breakfast and dinner was good as well. Staff in the store was great.

Frst camping trip & first stay in a KOA. Site #20 during Labor Day weekend was perfect! Full hookups, peaceful, sunset view, concrete patio, table with 4 chairs & umbrella, 2 chairs with table, fire feature & a charcoal grill.The campground is beautiful with many trees. The White River was dry so we walked on it and collected unique rocks. Breakfast at their cafe was good too. Highly recommend!

The showers were terrible. At the main building it was hard to find a comfortable temperature between scalding and cold. The other had very low water pressure. They both were run down and in need of replacement. The check in host was very nice and friendly.

I absolutely loved this nice little park. We didn't use the amenities because we came to visit the Badlands. We spent several days sightseeing the park and it was very much worth the time and money to stay here. Everyone we met was super friendly and welcoming! Grant it, I'm writing this review a year later, but it's still fresh in my memory! Thank you for such a wonderful site and a great vacation spot!

Wow! We arrived late and so happy to find a beautiful site. Very clean, quiet campground. Highly recommend if visiting the Badlands area. We spent 3 days and it was a great experience. Highly recommend the breakfast pancakes!
