Only minutes away from downtown Lynden, we've been photographed and featured in Trailer Life Magazine, Sunset Magazine, GoRVing, and we have even graced the cover of our very own KOA Campgrounds directory a time or two! Whether you like the basics or prefer the luxury life of glamping, the Lynden/Bellingham KOA has you covered. Located on the lower floor of our main building, the Kamper's Den is a terrific place to pick up your morning espresso and yummy treats, or try out a scoop of our deliciously local ice cream from Edaleen Dairy. When you are packing, don't forget to bring along your fishing gear! Our lakes are stocked with freshwater Bass and Rainbow Trout. Fishing is free for our customers. No license is required. If fishing isn't your thing, take a leisurely cruise around the lake by renting one of our pedal boats and take advantage of this terrific setting. Want to test your skill on the links? Buy a round of mini-golf and challenge the kids on our 18-hole miniature golf course. The kids will love our playground, and don't forget to bring your travel companions - we are pet-friendly! Our campground features a full calendar of entertaining events and themed weekends for all ages. These include fun events like Mardi Gras, S'mores parties, Spooky Campout, Bingo and New for 2026 is our Jusrasic Party weekend, as well as many other activities scheduled throughout the summer. Something that many of our customers enjoy is "Lynden KOA Movie Night." Every weekend, throughout the summer, we feature family-friendly movies presented under the stars. If you want to explore the local area, the charming small town of Lynden, Washington, is just a few minutes away. Stroll along Front Street in our little Dutch-themed town, browse charming shops, reflect on the past at the Lynden Heritage Museum, check out what is happening at the Northwest Washington Fairgrounds, or grab a bite at one of the many great restaurants in our area. If the idea of a bigger city sparks your interest, Bellingham, Washington, is only 25 minutes away. We are also known as the gateway to British Columbia. The Lynden/Aldegrove border crossing is only 5-miles from our campground.

Berthusen Park

Berthusen Park is a natural park of 236 acres with miles of trails through forest lands. It is the original homestead of Hans and Lida Berthusen and is located 1 1/2 miles northwest of downtown Lynden. The featured attraction is the Berthusen's 1913 cross-beam barn with antique farm equipment, a boat exhibit, and a Dahlia garden. Families will enjoy short interpretive hiking trails and playgrounds—also the home of the Puget Sound Antique Tractor & Machinery Association.
