Vernal / Dinosaurland KOAOpen April 1 - October 31 Get back to family fun at Dinosaurland KOA. You'll have a hard time deciding what to do in one of Utah's premier outdoor recreational areas. Take the kids and journey back to the age of prehistoric beasts at the Dinosaur National Monument. Even though the original visitor's center is currently under reconstruction, the park offers hiking trails, Ranger's programs and other informational talks. See who can spot the most fossils as you travel the discovery trail. Get directions for a short drive to McKonkie's ranch for an easy hike to view petroglyphs and beautiful canyon vistas. We'll even suggest some great picnicking spots to enjoy an afternoon lunch. If you want to get wet, arrange a raft trip down the Green River. Or maybe try fishing in one of our many nearby lakes. If relaxing is on your agenda, head back to the KOA for a dip in our heated pool. Challenge friends to a mini-golf game or throw some horseshoes. Kids can work off their extra energy on banana bikes or pedal carts. Join our other campers at an ice-cream social or marshmallow roast. Remember why camping is the best memory you can make with your family. To view more information on this campground access this campground's independent website.
