WATER TAXI FROM KOA KAMPGROUND TO NEW BERNAvailable now to our customer's is a high-speed water taxi to downtown New Bern. Taxi runs from 8AM to 4PM daily. $3.00/person one way or $5.00/person round trip. Will pick you up at our dock. Also available are 2 hour Tug Boat cruises. Water Taxi and Tug Boat accomodates 6 people. THE PALACE BY GEORGE 2/20-2/22A weekend event intended to celebrate George Washington's visit to New Bern during his Southern tour in 1791. There will be recreations of historical events (such as dancing assembly held in Washington's honor) patrotic artifacts on display, and craft activities and programs for the children. NORTH CAROLINA RV & CAMPING SHOW RALEIGHCome visit us February 26-28 at the NC State Fairgrounds in Raleigh. KOA will have their booth alongside all the RV's that are available for you to view. See you there! 2010 NC HARLEY DAVIDSON MOTORCYCLE RALLY MAY 14 & 15It is official that the 70th Annual Rally will be held in New Bern May 14 and 15,2010. We had a great weekend in 2009 (minus the rain) and look forward to being your host again. The event will be at the fairgrounds. Reservations for that weekend are open now ,so book soon. 2010 COME CAMP & CARE WEEKEND MOVED TO MAY 21 & 22Because of the NC Harley Davidson Motorcycle Rally being held May 14 & 15 we will be opting out of the normal KOA schedule. But don't fret, we will having our own weekend May 21 & 22 and will be honoring the " Pay for one night and get 2nd night free". All events will be planned as usual but just on a different weekend.
