New Bern KOAOur KOA NewsMONTHLY SITES AVAILABLE SOON FOR THE WINTER!Why go all the way to Florida to escape the cold weather when you can stop at our beautiful KOA. Beginning 11/15/09 we will open up more sites in the campground area for our monthly camping guest. They will be available until 3/31/10. WOMEN'S EXPO , NOVEMBER 11, 2009The Women's Expo is a day dedicated to the needs of women and their families. It's a fun filled day of shopping and entertainment along with educational information. A quality, fun, educational and interactive experience, Women's Expo will be filled with exhibitors from various businesses and professions and includes seminars, product and food samples, entertainment, demonstrations, on-site services, health screenings, door prizes, and fabulous marketing potential. . TRYON PALACE FESTIVE KICK OFF NOV 27-29Join us as we kick off the holiday season on Thanksgiving weekend. Christmas decorations are up in the Palace and in our three historic houses. A DICKENS OF A CHRISTMAS IN NEW BERN NOV 27- DEC. 24Get in the spirit with a month long holiday festival, with Trolley Tours on Friday and Saturday evenings, Santa in Bear Plaza Friday, Saturday and Sunday, read A Christmas Carol in store front windows (10 new storyboards this year), the Gifts of the Magi performance at the New Bern Civic Theatre, Scavenger Hunts, free entertainment Friday evenings, Mrs Santa Story Telling followed by a craft project every Saturday, Christmas Parade, Flotilla, Bed and Breakfast Open House and Tour, and more. 2010 NC HARLEY DAVIDSON MOTORCYCLE RALLY MAY 14 & 15It is official that the 70th Annual Rally will be held in New Bern May 14 and 15,2010. We had a great weekend in 2009 (minus the rain) and look forward to being your host again. The event will be at the fairgrounds. Reservations for that weekend are open now ,so book soon. 2010 COME CAMP & CARE WEEKEND MOVED TO MAY 21 & 22Because of the NC Harley Davidson Motorcycle Rally being held May 14 & 15 we will be opting out of the normal KOA schedule. But don't fret, we will having our own weekend May 21 & 22 and will be honoring the " Pay for one night and get 2nd night free". All events will be planned as usual but just on a different weekend. Reservations are being taken now so call soon. |
