Guidelines for Everyone’s Safety & Enjoyment

Fireworks, Firearms, Explosives and Paintball Equipment: Strictly Prohibited

Campfires

All fires must be contained in fire rings and attended. Do not move fire rings. No ground fires.

Firewood is available for sale at the camp store.

Swimming Pool

The pool is open from May 15th - October 1st. Please note there is NO LIFEGUARD on duty. Children under the age of 16 may not swim without an adult present. Hours vary depending on the store's hours.

Check-in and Check-out Times

RV and Tent Sites: Check-in at 12:00 pm. Check-out at 11:00 am.

Cabin and Deluxe Cabin check-in at 3:00 pm. Check out at 11:00 am

Boat Ramp

Our boat ramp will only launch a vessel 14 ft and below. There is a Wildlife Reserve ramp up the road about 2 miles where you can launch and then tie up your vessel in one of our boat slips.

All visitors, please stop by the front to register and obtain parking pass.

Golf Cart Insurance

PERSONAL GOLF CART POLICY: Only electric Golf Carts are permitted as long as we are
provided a certificate of insurance with $50,000 of liability coverage at
check in and will be kept on file during your stay. Also, the driver must
have a valid drivers license & anyone under 18 must be accompanied by an
adult.

Cancellation Policy

Need to Cancel? If you need to cancel your reservation, please call 800-562-3341 before the deadlines listed below to receive your deposit refund, minus a $10 cancellation fee. Text and email notifications of cancellations are NOT acceptable.

RV & Tent Sites: 48 hours cancellation notice is required. Notify your KOA by 4 p.m. two days before your scheduled arrival.
Camping Cabins: 7 days cancellation notice required. Please notify your KOA one week before your scheduled arrival.
Deluxe Cabins & Unique Accommodations: These units may have special deposit and cancellation requirements. Please check with your selected KOA campground location when making your reservations.
Reservations made after these deadlines require nonrefundable deposits. Cancellations made after deadlines will result in forfeiture of all deposits.
Holidays and special events may have special deposit and/or cancellation requirements. Special conditions may apply during high-demand periods and special events. Please check with your selected KOA for details.

Vehicle Policy

Maximum 2 vehicles per site, all must display a park pass and must be within your assigned site - not allowed on any vacant site or on the main road. We provide overflow parking for any additional vehicles that do not fit on your site.

Leni, and her husband Chino, joined New Bern KOA Holiday in 2021 after completing a Workamping assignment with Sugarloaf Key / Key West KOA Holiday, Florida. Leni's dedication and hard work led to her promotion to Manager in early 2023, a testament to her passion for creating a welcoming atmosphere for guests and staff alike. Leni and Chino, along with their three children, fell in love with New Bern's small-town charm and rich history. They enjoy exploring museums, restaurants, being close to beaches, an easy drive to the mountains, other states and making lasting memories together. Leni's passion for RVing and spending quality time with her family is reflected in the warm and friendly atmosphere she creates at the New Bern KOA Holiday. As a manager, Leni believes in building strong relationships with her staff, empowering them to excel in their roles. She creates a fun and friendly atmosphere at work, enjoys everyday interactions with guests, and plans exciting activities for everyone to enjoy. Her goal is for every staff member to feel like part of the family, where they can use their unique strengths to contribute to the KOA team.
