Campground Activities
Colorful Creations
One of our favorite activities is to Tye Dye our Woodstock KOA t-shirts...as always they are "one of a kind"
Auctions, Antiquing, Shopping and Museums
We are in an area with many friendly towns where people wave to their neighbors and friendship endure. From individual dealers to country auctions, and where most every town boasts an antique shop, novelty store or name brand factory outlets. See some of the historical or ski museums only minutes away from our KOA. And remember in New Hampshire it's all tax-free!
Canoeing, Kayaking, Tubing, Cruising and Swimming
Canoe or kayak in a nearby river for that thrill or spill. Tubing is another way to enjoy relaxation during a lazy summer day. Boat ramps are also available nearby, along with several "drop-ins" along the "Pemi" river. During any one of these excursions, take the opportunity to cool off in our pristine waters. Several area shops will offer guided tours and transportation.
Covered bridges and Waterfalls
There are more than 100 waterfalls in the White Mountains. Each of our more than 50 unique covered bridges are not only an integral part of the landscape, but shall provide a place to wait out a summer rain shower or shhhhhh steal a kiss.
Extreme Adventures
For those willing to take their fun to a different level, there are several area zip lines and suspension bridges where nature hikes meet thrill ride. There is even a safari off-road tour nearby.
Family Dining
In the event the weather turns foul and cooking at a campfire just isn't in the cards, you will find dining options aplenty. From old time dining cars to formal dining and don't forget about the many local favorite pizza/sub shops.
Hiking, Biking, Horseback Riding and ATV Rentals
You'll discover many of the off-road hiking trails, maybe an abandoned railroad bed, which would be great for cycling too. Franconia Notch (10 minutes away) offers a bike path along with a variety of hiking trails ranging from novice to the advanced level. Rock climbers are welcome to challenge the rock wall above Profile Lake. Horseback riding enthusiast will enjoy the mountain meadows and cool forest trails. Nearby ATV rentals on private land is available.
Hunting and Fishing
The clear cold waters of our area are ideal for (fly or cast) fishing: trout, browns and rainbows. Hunters will be in paradise not only for the notable views but also for the abundance of Turkey, Deer, Moose, Bear or whatever your hunting pleasure. A current NH hunting/fishing license is required.
Theatre, Music and the Arts - Even Outdoor Concerts
Summer main stage theatre productions of Broadway musicals and productions are alive and well in the White Mountains. Lincoln's own Papermill Theatre is known for its touring children's Theatre Company. Frequently local musicians entertain in the gazebo on the North Woodstock common.
