The place is very cute. But the bathrooms smell aweful! The showers were pretty grimy as well.

I got in late so really all I needed was a place to park and I slept very comfortably in the back of my vehicle as I was too tired to pitch my tent. However, the next morning I discovered the tent sites had no picnic tables. So I left without preparing my planned breakfast since I had nowhere to set up my stove or anywhere to sit and eat.

overall a good stay, I had stayed here in the past and knew what to expect. I am concerned that office hours at KOA are shrinking. Sometimes I have opted to get a kamping kabin at arrival. If I arrive after 6pm that option doesn't seem possible. Self check-in is like being at a grocery store, paying more for less.

The KOA was clean and comfortable. We arrived after hours, but everything was laid out for us and easy to understand. We swam in the pool, played basketball and fished in the pond. Thanks.

As a KOA the facilities are nice and clean. The tent area could be placed a bit better. It's in a triangle of three different camp roads, which strikes me as an after thought. In truth the tent area should be furthest from the entrance of the KOA. That would help with the noise of vehicles coming and going. You know like the massive camper that shows up at 3am and you're right there in a tent.Loud

After hours reserved check-in went very smoothly. I hardly slept at all in my tent because of the noise of the train yard that must be next door. All night there were train cars being moved around d and slamming into each other. It was terrible.

My first koa or camping in any commercial site. I got there when office closed but readily found binder w/ my reservation. Superb clarity of brief instructions re find a tent site, rules. One mini-suggestion: put "office" as well as "store" on the main bldg (& pardon if it's there but i didn't see it). Thnx for all super!

We stayed here for 1 night as a stop over heading North. We wanted to stay 2 nights but nasty storms with large hail and tornadoes were predicted the next night so we elected only 1 night. Site #22 that we had was nice. Level and gravel and easy to get into. On the roads to maneuver inside the park there are lowing hanging branches in several areas that scraped the top and side of our RV a little bit. Site was just long enough for our 40' Class A rig with a 14' trailer and prius. Location of the pedstal, sewer and water was good. No one at the office when we checked in around 4p, but check in was a breeze with the book and receipts and a map of the campground. Overall it was good and what I expect from KOA for the price paid. The people at the park that night were noisy until around 12a-1a, which was annoying and many of them had campfires going until around that time. That was the only downside to the park.
