Wonderful people. Trees on entry road need to be cut back. Rub on rv. Entry road in need of repair. To miss holes, you are into tree branches. Have stayed at this KOA in excess of 50 times and WILL return.

We stayed in a deluxe cabin. It was well-appointed and as comfortable as possible. Easy access and friendly staff.

This was a great place to stop for the night on our trip from KC to Austin with easy access a short distance from I-35. We arrived late, and our check-in packet was waiting for us. The only issue we experienced was that we were not able to access the WiFi. The access point did not show up as an option and there was no one to contact for assistance since it was after hours.

Stayed in site 40 it had great hook ups. I don’t like the patio furniture sites myself just to cluttered, but I do like the concrete pads and patios. my wife couldn’t believe how many cardinals she spotted about a dozen.

We stayed two nights at the Wellington KOA staff was super friendly and helpful. Our deluxe site was perfect very quiet and well-maintained. We took advantage of many of the amenities, including the basketball court and the catch and released fishing pond. Our son loved catching the bluegill the pond was stocked with. We look forward to staying there again in the future.

While the Campground did it's part good, the area it resides in is noisy with trains all night long. Seems like 3 to 4 trains every hour tooting their horns and rumbling down the tracks. Makes it hard to sleep.

We found the Travin BBQ to be outstanding. Had a great visit with owner and his wife. Great place to dine.

Becoming more run down with every stay. Lot of relatively small maintenance items that could be done to improve looks - i.e. damaged dog yard fence, light fixtures on main building, etc. Main driveway into park is in desperate need of repair. Owner has several dogs that are in a fence near the dog park that bark continuously when other dogs are in the park's dog park.

We always stay there for one night going to Arizona and retiring from Arizona. Staff is so nice. Glad they are open all year.

We loved the Wellington KOA! A very clean well laid out facility. We have put it on our short list of " will return" campgrounds and appreciate the attention to making this campground a great place to stay. We have a dog that travels with us and we loved the beautiful scenery that made walking so much fun! We arrived after dark and we felt safe and very comfortable for our stay! Thank you!

Overpriced for the value. Not up to normal KOA standards. Minimal wifi and poor cable channel reception. Very disappointed.

Always clean, small dog park well maintained, friendly staff. Sites easy to find and navigate. This is our go-to campground on the way to and from Texas. Been here several times.

Easily able to reserve online, but I knew I would be arriving late, so I called to let them know. I had stayed on the first leg of my trip and they were very accommodating in placing me in the same camp site which I had used previously and thus I had confidence I could maneuver my long rig and easily set-up after dark.

Stayed here 3 or 4 times - off season, one night each, passing through. Seems the hosts like to place customers in sites farthest away from office/bathroom/laundry and the very weak (unusable) wifi signal. Most are pull-thru sites, 3 with patios. Back-in sites along one side. Nice grounds. City water froze at above ground spigot so we were glad to have water in our fresh tank this last stay.

No one in office that afternoon of arrival or morning before departure. Glad had been there before Was disappointed with this stay as emphasized need for level site which we didn’t have last time and unable to level but still did not have level spot. Over half the bathrooms and showers were out of order. Enjoyed our stay the last 2 times. Not sure what changed and price went up.

Internet or cable needs improvement. I did not have internet access and cable TV was minimal. Other than that you have a nice campground and we have stayed there in the past and will in the future.

It was only supposed to be one night, but with monsoon rains where I was headed... I opted to stay an additional 3 nights and get some good work done and catch up on sleep. It may be the off season, but the staff were cheerful, welcoming, and helpful. Being a freeze time of year, I did not hook up to water, so I used the showers on site, and they are very clean. Thank you for your hospitality!

Our stay was great! The manager/man in the office was very nice and helpful! He called to confirm our stay and Left a very detailed voicemail that was very helpful since we arrived later than expected. He even brought us our propane. This was in a great location, just 5 minutes from a Walmart.

We were very disappointed in this KOA. Muddy sites and $15 extra for a paved site which didn’t look great either. Paid $ 6 more for a nice paved site in Sanger that was clean and very well kept. We only stayed at Wellington due to good location. Will not stay again as the sites are not kept up.

The snow and mud decreased my affection this time for this KOA. Not the fault of the owners, it was just messy. Stayed there another time and all was great.

We stayed here for 1 night as a stop over heading North. We wanted to stay 2 nights but nasty storms with large hail and tornadoes were predicted the next night so we elected only 1 night. Site #22 that we had was nice. Level and gravel and easy to get into. On the roads to maneuver inside the park there are lowing hanging branches in several areas that scraped the top and side of our RV a little bit. Site was just long enough for our 40' Class A rig with a 14' trailer and prius. Location of the pedstal, sewer and water was good. No one at the office when we checked in around 4p, but check in was a breeze with the book and receipts and a map of the campground. Overall it was good and what I expect from KOA for the price paid. The people at the park that night were noisy until around 12a-1a, which was annoying and many of them had campfires going until around that time. That was the only downside to the park.
