Lovely campground, friendly check-in, and level site. Took off one star for the potholes on the way in. Will stay again!

Fine for a short stay, but unsure why this KOA is categorized as a Holiday. We have stayed in Journeys that are better maintained, with more amenities than Wellington, and in a better location. The site management was absent most of the time, as though this was a low-priority part-time job for them. The minimal interaction we had with them was pleasant however, and the price was reasonable.

This is out 3rd time staying here, it's a nice little KOA just a mile west of the KS turnpike, the office has always been closed when we have arrived even during normal business hours but your information and a map to your site is in a folder by the front door, just sign the receipt and put it in the slot in that desk and go park at your site. This is so simple that even a caveman can do it.

Nice layout, close enough to the interstate and a Walmart nearby. Avery and Justus in office were professional and very helpful.

Clean, very clean, bathrooms. Level sites. Train was far and no noise bothered us. Used the laundry - everything worked as expected. Very nice, safe campground!

Extremely disappointed. The site was dirty with cigarette butts and garbage. The matter was brought to the attention of the young man at the front desk, who indicted he would clean up the situation. Unfortunately this did not happen. Just a suggestion, perhaps each KOA should inspect each site after each guest leaves to ensure the next guest does not have to stay on a dirty site.

Small footprint in terms of total acreage but beautifully well kept. Had a pull through site as we only stayed for one evening. Itt was spacious and easy to maneuver. Highly recommend.

I know your quiet hours are 10p to 7a but there is absolutely no reason to wake your guests up with the lawnmower you can do that anytime after most have gone or left for work starting at 7 am is just not called for.

I love staying at this KOA. It’s convenient, close to the highway but not too close. The only thing is I wished you stayed open until 7:00pm. The last two times I have passed through the office had been closed. I needed some camper items and could not buy them from you. Other than that your campground is awesome, thank you.

We got there late. There was a envelope with a map showing where our site was. Bathroom and showers where clean. Showers had hot water.

Quiet campground. Walmart close by to restock supplies. Stayed here for the 2024 eclipse. Commute to eclipse worked great as there are numerous uncrowded roads in area.

The Wellington KOA was so easy to get into. We arrived after the office had closed but they had all the reservation information waiting for us. A very nice campground that we would recommend to any camper.

We have stayed here previously. Everything was fine - we did not go into any of the facilities. The outside surroundings need a little TLC. A couple old unused campers are definitely an eye sore.

The place is very cute. But the bathrooms smell aweful! The showers were pretty grimy as well.

Camp was not busy and we expected a nice quiet evening, However, we were put close to the residence onsite and three dogs barked until after midnight. Appeared the keeper or owner decided since it was Friday to go out on the town and leave their dogs out. Slept very poorly due to this noise. Facility needs upgrading.

Most conditions were as acceptable as we have usually found them to be, however the Direct TV had more than half of the channels either not of viewable quality or not getting a signal at all, especially the over the air channels. It might help to have the person closing for the day check the cable connections to avoid leaving patrons with poor viewing choices.

I got in late so really all I needed was a place to park and I slept very comfortably in the back of my vehicle as I was too tired to pitch my tent. However, the next morning I discovered the tent sites had no picnic tables. So I left without preparing my planned breakfast since I had nowhere to set up my stove or anywhere to sit and eat.

Lovely rural campsite, although there is a Walmart and quite a few restaurant options close by. The campsite was clean and well-kept, and the owner was very attentive. The free internet was very weak at my spot - I had to use a hotspot. It might be worth paying extra for the paid internet so figure that into your budget.

We stayed here for 1 night as a stop over heading North. We wanted to stay 2 nights but nasty storms with large hail and tornadoes were predicted the next night so we elected only 1 night. Site #22 that we had was nice. Level and gravel and easy to get into. On the roads to maneuver inside the park there are lowing hanging branches in several areas that scraped the top and side of our RV a little bit. Site was just long enough for our 40' Class A rig with a 14' trailer and prius. Location of the pedstal, sewer and water was good. No one at the office when we checked in around 4p, but check in was a breeze with the book and receipts and a map of the campground. Overall it was good and what I expect from KOA for the price paid. The people at the park that night were noisy until around 12a-1a, which was annoying and many of them had campfires going until around that time. That was the only downside to the park.
