We love this campground. This was our second time staying here and they have everything a family could want in a campground. The only reason I did not give 5 stars was the bathrooms where a little rough this time. I’m sure it’s because they where full and not fully staffed so don’t let this scare you because everything else was on point. We will be back for sure.

The sites weren't completely level and the WIFi was horrible. But the park is nicely kept and loved the beach and swimming area.

Great family get together that we do yearly.Only disappointments were that the back in patio price is much higher, and the same as the drive thru patio price, and our yard light on the patio didn't work.We also rented another site and a cabin, but can only use our KOA discount on one site,which I feel isn't right--you are paying for nights no matter what.Cabins strict 3 chKin,but clean for 2hrs.

The Waterloo KOA is a great place to camp! We were expecting small sites and basically just a place to park our camper. We were quite surprised! The staff at the KOA store were friendly and very helpful. The manager, Amy went out of her way to make our trip the BEST! An added perk, having gas and diesel pumps at the park entrance; cheaper than in town too! We highly recommend this park!

Beautiful park and we'll laid out. The large and small dog run areas were large but the latch on the small dog side didn't completely latch. The lake was nice and would like to come back to go out on it.

We were traveling from AL to MN and stopped here for one night. The campground is easy to get to, onsite gas station, parks for kids and pets. All pads are gravel and relatively level. Lake onsite to fish and swim. Also has a walking trail around the lake. Was nice for us and our dog to stretch and relax after driving. Great site if you are staying a while or just passing through.

The only complaint is that the four boys that where swimming and cussing up a storm with every other word frisking this and that When tha s’mores event was going on a Kia staff should have talked to them and got it stopped

Workers were super friendly and helpful. Campground was accommodating to late checkins. Discount to waterpark was helpful. Waterpark was a BLAST for adults and kids. Would easily spend 2 full days at park.

nicely laid out. big, level pull thru's. very open - sometimes, too many trees lead to a cluttered campground. not the case here.

The shower area needs updated. I used the handicap stall by site 109 and the connections to the hand held shower were leaking and spraying all over and the shower wand itself was cracked and spraying everywhere

We love the Waterloo KOA! We've stayed before & always find it nice! Bathrooms are well taken care of. Beach is beautiful & has been taken care of since our first stay. Spots are nice & not to close to neighbors. The kids love the park & movie night was a nice bonus. It was too windy for the bounce houses but we understand. The staff at check in was welcoming & helpful!

What a delightful KOA! We only spent 3 nights, but the staff was friendly, the grounds were very well maintained, and it was very easy to navigate. We loved our site which was more than long enough for our 45' MH and truck. There are kayak, paddle boat and other rentals for the lake as well as a disc golf course on the campground. The location is great: close to shopping and restaurants.

This KOA is very nice and the dog park is the best! We were sad we only stayed one night. We will definitely be back.

Up keep was just ok. Dog droppings in campsite when arrived. Grass in site was over 6" tall. On a plus side fire ring was cleaned out and ready for use. Gravel parking area was clean and nice.

Very dIsappointed with quality of Wifi - just for looking things up on internet, no streaming even attempted- and especially compared other KOAs and newness of this location. Cable clarity very fuzzy no matter what remedies we used to improve it. Last: You need additional and more visible (larger) EXIT signs when leaving remote sites, like #31.

Campground was nice. Grass was extremely high and should have been cut prior to Memorial Day weekend. Staff was nice, but very inexperienced and short-handed. Unavailability of kayak and boat rentals on a holiday weekend inexcusable.

Never saw the bathrooms cleaned nor the laundry. Washers don’t fill with enough water to co Ed clothes. Tree fell down in storm and laid in road for 3 days. Dumpsters overflowing. Memeorial weekend, I understand but Really??

We were given a spot that was barely big enough for our camper & vehicle. WiFi needs improvement. Friends of ours asked for the spot next to ours and were told no because they were all booked up, yet there was no one in that spot during our visit. Playground could be bigger/more equipment. Other than that, it’s a very nice campground. Nice walking trail and convenience store.

So many things to do. Wonderful trees. Sites well-maintained. Manager Matt helped us resolve some RV issues we were having. Our grands loved the playground and the lake.

I was extremely disappointed that we arrived on Friday of Memorial Day weekend to grass at our campsite between 7-9 inches tall. I went to talk with the front desk staff and was told they were short staffed and they would note my request for our site #44 to be mowed. We borrowed a lawn mower from someone who lived in waterloo and mowed our own campsite. Never saw an employee at the site to mow.

The layout is very nice and I liked the theme of the park. The employees that checked us in and out were very nice but there were a couple workers who weren't the friendliest. It was nice that they had gas/diesel pumps right there but the shutoff on the diesel wasn't working and we ended up paying for a couple gallons that went on the ground. No offer of a refund.

Stayed at RV site towards the front. Nice level site. Site by hill aren't leveled/cut down. Slant down with hill. Saw gas or diesel pumps on site.

Very well maintained and attractive facility. Close to attractions, entertainment, groceries, and the highway. Over all pretty quiet, some occasional road noise. Sites are level and relatively spacious. Staff were very friendly and helpful, but not bothersome. Price is a bit higher than other areas nearby. Overall I was very happy with my stay and would stay there again.
