Our check-in process was GREAT and our propane fill experience as well-both services by firefighter KOA staff who were very kind and personable.

We love the Townsend KOA. We are frequent visitors. Not having the best of luck with falling limbs at this campground. We have now had limbs fall on our Travel Trailer 3 times on 3 different visits including the last night this trip on lot 57. This limb issue has me seriously looking at the Little Arrow next door because of the falling limbs.

We love this campground. Everything from the clean grounds, responsive workers & check-in staff is top notch. My only complaint is the increasing cost of staying there. We come every fall for a week but may have to consider other campgrounds in the area due to the cost. We love this campground and recommend it to all our friends. Keep up the good work, but please reconsider your rates.

Very helpful staff. We were greeted immediately! The staff was very helpful to help us into our campsite. Facility was super clean and well maintained. The activities for Halloween were great! Very family friendly!

Very quiet campground with beautiful surroundings. Grandkids loved the playground and trick or treating! Looking forward to many more visits in the future!

We had an amazing weekend here. The trick or treating and events were so much fun, and all of the employees were so helpful and kind! Already booked again for next year :)

Nice KOA with friendly staff. We had a great time. However, it was by far the most expensive KOA ever for us and most likely will prevent us from returning unless the price is reduced. Sadly so. Our site by the river was nice but the deck floor had rotten wood. My wife and I had to constantly avoid the common path on the deck to keep from breaking our ankles.

Site #61 was priced as premium, and the site itself is nice, but the location is horrible. Constant foot, car and golf cart traffic passing by with little privacy. $20 dollar fine to have my son and his family visit for a few hours, parked well within our site area was a an unwelcomed surprise.

The staff is great as most KOA’s. Had a sight by the river…amazing. Bath house was always clean.

We loved your location, the cleanliness and quality of your showers/bathrooms, and the very accommodating personnel who helped us both when we arrived (got expert help backing into our site) and who also responded with understanding when we needed to cut our time short due to unanticipated family needs.

Great Campground, nicely kept grounds and facilities. Could have lived without the leaf blowers most days but they are trying to keep the site’s clear. Will be staying here again next June.

We had the best time. We stayed in one of the river sites and it was so peaceful. We made friends on both sides of our campsite. The workers were all friendly and helpful. We will defiantly stay there again.

Once again, another well maintained KOA campground with a friendly and helpful staff. We had a premium site backed up to a nicely flowing river and a beautiful textured concrete patio. We were met right away when we entered the park and led to our site. Also, being just a mile or so from a Great Smokies Park entrance was very convenient and a plus. Highly recommend a visit & stay.

Great help checking in and backing into site. They had beautiful landscaping which made the sites not seem so close together. We were on the upper level where sites were tight. Other levels had somewhat bigger sites and lots of trees. Very nice campground, dog park and close to Smokies.

This is one of the best KOA's that we stayed in. The employees were absolutely amazing. Our furnace broke and they delivered us a space heater to use until we got the part we needed. The spaces are a little tight but an employee helped us back in. Very close to the Smoky NP. I really can't say enough about how awesome the staff is here. Will definitely be back!

Everyone was so friendly and the campground is GORGEOUS! We had a river site and our friends stayed in a cute cabin. We've already reserved our stay for 2024!

Beautiful campground in the perfect location. Easy access to Cades Cove, Pigeon Forge and Gatlingburg via the Smokies. Clean restrooms and most of all, the staff is friendly and helpful. Can't wait to spend time here in the future.

Cades cove is a great place to go and enjoy nature at its best, pigeon forge has a lot of wonderful stores and amusement parks along the strip

This is a "Holiday" KOA so it has amenities for campers who stay away and look for entertainment. It is just outside and entrance to the Great Smoky Mountain National Park. The "Little River" flows by the edge of the campground then into the National Park. some sites back up to the river. There are many trees in the campground. The bathroom and other building facilities are dated in design but clean, neat and spotless in appearance. I feel the whole campground is well maintained. I have a high-end site, $100/night but I like the space. All sites are gravel. Mine was in excellent condition. Very quiet at night. No AT&T cell service but the campground WiFi worked very well all the time.
