From the moment we checked in to the time we left it was absolutely wonderful. The staff was so pleasant, grounds were always clean, and the bathhouses were superb!!

Great place to camp if you are in the gatlinburg/pigeon forge area. Super well maintained, each lot is landscaped for privacy,great shower house and laundry area with never ending hot water, pleasant staff eager to help your stay to be extra special. Keep it up!

We had a fantastic time at the KOA in Townsend! The staff was friendly and very helpful. We had some car issues and the maintenance staff took the time to help us out and make sure the problem was solved! The location of this KOA was perfect. Only 15-20 mins to Cades Cove, 40 mins to downtown Gatlinburg, and right on the water, making it peaceful, and not too close to the business of Gatlinburg

People walking through campsite, loud music being played with profanity, cars from other campsites parked in or in front of my campsite. Was not a relaxing atmosphere.

Really nice park that is well maintained. Can’t beat the location to the Smokies. Lots of activities for kids in the park. Escorts are helpful with parking. We have stayed twice now and would return again.

We had a fantastic time. It is literally one of the best campgrounds we have ever been to! Plus - everything was so clean, and the workers were more than helpful.

Unfortunately we were only passing through for the night. Arrived at almost 7pm and was pulling out at 7am so we didn't get to experience the whole campground to its fullest. However, the kids loved the playground and pool. Beautiful location, scenery, sites, staff especially Debbie was amazing! We were truly sad to not be able to stay longer. We WILL be back, for a much longer stay.

Very well maintained campground with a friendly staff. The location is great and the campground has river access. Sites are close together but there is nice landscaping and trees to provide some privacy.

Awesome camp sites with plenty of room to maneuver your truck and camper. The meet you at the entrance and help you back into your site. I was towing a 5th wheel camper for the first time and they directed me into my site and made it in on the 1st try. Lady in the office are great. If you need firewood or propane they will bring it right to your site. Awesome stay, we booked 3 more stays

The Townsend KOA is a nice and clean campground. They are pricing themselves to a place where no one can afford to camp here though. Little arrow next door is $50 a night cheaper and a much nicer campground with more amenities.

We had a wonderful time at the Townsend/Great Smokies KOA. The campground was very well kept and the staff was very helpful and kind. Very peaceful and relaxing. The river next to the campground was an extra treat. We brought our tubes and enjoyed the river multiple times. Can’t wait to come back and enjoy camping there again. Highly recommend this campground to anyone.

I was very disappointed that I could not plug in my 110 volt car charger. It was no where in your policy that I could not charge. People had bicycles and golf carts charging all around me. Hybrid /electric cars are very popular. You need to get on board and if you don't you need to let people know your policy before they arrive.

Rv site and 2 cabins. Facilities could use some upgrades. Playground has warning tape up and Camp Store charges extreme prices that are way out of line $11 for a pound of bacon!!! You can tell it is a company owned facility. Best thing was the wonderful lady who checked us in. She was Awesome

Cades cove is a great place to go and enjoy nature at its best, pigeon forge has a lot of wonderful stores and amusement parks along the strip

This is a "Holiday" KOA so it has amenities for campers who stay away and look for entertainment. It is just outside and entrance to the Great Smoky Mountain National Park. The "Little River" flows by the edge of the campground then into the National Park. some sites back up to the river. There are many trees in the campground. The bathroom and other building facilities are dated in design but clean, neat and spotless in appearance. I feel the whole campground is well maintained. I have a high-end site, $100/night but I like the space. All sites are gravel. Mine was in excellent condition. Very quiet at night. No AT&T cell service but the campground WiFi worked very well all the time.
