Super awesome KOA. Staff is very friendly and the grounds are immaculate. This must be an award winning KOA. If it isn't is should be. Love the foliage between each site. It such a feel of privacy from the site next door.

Sites were a bit tight. Although landscaping was beautiful, it need to be trimmed back to prevent tripping. More activities would have been nice

Top notch pool, bar and cafe. Bathrooms cleaned regularly throughout the day. No trash or litter. Loved kayaking!! Heads up about the sand fleas and how to possible prevent bites would of been helpful.

One of the nicest, cleanest and friendliest places we have camped. As long as you don’t mind traveling out to get to places to eat and sites it’s the place to be. The people are super helpful! Loved our stay. The only negative we had was the size of the dog park, not a lot of space for the dogs to get any play time and exercise.

The entire staff was amazing. Great sites. Store, Bar, Bait tackle shop, Boat rental and the Pool area where the best. We did not want to leave. Will be back next year for sure

Our stay was fantastic ! I celebrated my wife birthday and it was beautiful. the staff is extremely professional and friendly. They were extremely helpful with assisting us with a tree that was blocking our RV awing. The staff cut it back in order for our awing to extend fully. Nikki the front desk and customer service representative is very friendly , professional , and is an asset to KOA.

Beautiful landscaped areas, despite the annoying "no-see-ums". Was nice to have a beach area directly behind our RV. Bartenders were awesome! Staff was extremely nice!

The staff was so nice. We got textmessages with extra info en and textmessage saying goodbye. The campground was very beautiful and clean. Beside the rain, it was a great stay.

Nikki and her husband were awesome hosts. The frequent pickup of trash, delivery of needed stuff was great. The staff seemed genuinely happy, not putting on a smile

To start with when we checked in the staff at the desk were great. Then we went outside and were told by a male staff-member to follow him we were 2nd behind my son who's spot was next to us. As we started another staff member pulled their cart in front of us waving her arms and yelling for us to stop. I had to slam on the breaks and stop abruptly to miss her. maybe more later not enough room..

great time great service just one thing . you should inform guest about site flooding with heavy rains.. just so you can pick up things. site 1016. stay 17th-24th of sept. 2023 your pontoon rental needs to be better .. it broke while we were out and then they had to tow us back. Slammed us in the no wake sign. My father inlaw fell hard got cuts and bruises.not a fun experince

Very impressed with the facilities! The landscaping was gorgeous and added a sense of privacy to each site. The pool and bar were amazing-very clean and looked brand new. It was nice to be able to order food and drinks without going off-site. All the staff we talked to were friendly and helpful. Only downside: after a heavy downpour, our site had standing water and took several hours to drain.

Fantastic sites, amenities, awesome staff, beautiful setting! Loved the pool, cafe and marina! Please warn everyone staying at your RV resort, the No See Ums are awful!! They ate me alive the first nite when we setup and the bitesare STILL not healed! However we would stay there again!

This is the 2nd year we have stayed there. We booked for next year too. Absolutely love the Kampground and the staff is amazing too. Not a fan of the wrist bands but understand the reason for them. See you in 2024

This is absolutely the best KOA! We love it here! Everything is immaculate, the restrooms, showers, laundry facilities, pool and hot tub. Landscaping is beautiful as well. We had pizza at tge pub and it was delish! They also have happy hour at the pub. They had a pancake breakfast on the Saturday we were there and let me tell ya Bubba knows how to make those cakes! Lol! Thank you ! See you soon!

Only 2 things we could have hoped for- a wider music selection played in the pool area (it was just country music), and maybe another pet area with some grass (we did have to take our pup pretty far). Other than that, this place was just about perfect!

We had a wonderful time as always. The staff was helpful, friendly and welcoming. My biggest complaint would be that the dog park area really needs a cover. This very hot Florida is horrific on the pup’s paws. My Boston Terrier literally fell down because her paws was burnt from the heat. This still one of my favorite places to vacation.

Great stay overall. The only reason that I could not give 5 stars was because of an inhospitable lady tending the bar. She was rude. But only to the non-drinkers. My family does not drink alcohol. I even herd her tell the other employee that my kids did not say please. (They did! She didn’t hear) not her business anyway. She also only filled their $8 Slushie 75%. FYI the employee wore a knee bra

Landscaping was very well maintained, quiet and peaceful, staff was very kind and helpful. A Lot of room for your RV. Close to Key West.

Excellent campground....the staff was absolutely AMAZING. It was our 2nd visit and will be returning in the future. Unfortunately the Mosquitoes and No see-ums were the absolute worst this time of year....of course this is in no way the KOA's fault, after all it is the Florida Keys and it is the rainy season in South Florida

This campground was incredible! Friendly, knowledgeable and responsive staff, immaculate grounds and exceptionally clean showers/restrooms. Very nice! The lack of shade trees is the only drawback.

Very glad to see the foliage and hedges growing in nicely and adding privacy to the sites. Staff was very friendly and were constantly seen cleaning and keeping the campgrounds spotless. Cleanest campsite we've been to, amazing. The staff at the marina were helpful and friendly. Marina, ramp and slips are top notch. The No-see-um's are still pesky in the evening. Thank you, again.

Too expensive, no view of the water, difficult to navigate (no exit signs), wristband is annoying and above all, the constant annoyance of so many employees riding around on carts really gets old fast. Plus the people next to me were jerks about my dogs constantly being on leash yet let their stupid little dog constantly bark I just really didn't like the place for the price.

This is a great location approximately 25 minutes from Key West. The staff was AMAZING. Everyone that I came in contact was very friendly, helpful, and informative of the site and the surrounding area. This location has quite few amenities to keep you busy. I recommend this location and we will be back. This location was worth the money.

My husband and I just got back from our stay at Sugarloaf. It was everything we have been told and more. From check in to check out, the staff was always there to help with a smile. The grounds are amazing. There is not a bad spot, every site is clean and well maintained. The pool is beautiful, live music and bar area is very nice and the store has everything you would need if something was forgotten. We met so many wonderful fellow campers and we've booked for next year.

Everyday in the Keys are PARADISE!!! This island resort has 2 beautiful new hotels with large suites to accommodate your family. Fully stocked Marina for all your fishing needs,also has boats, paddle boards, kayaks, bikes, pedal carts for rent. Sandy Beach with loungers and inflatable water floats to play on. The pool is so well landscaped you wouldn't believe your in the middle of a RV resort!!!! There's a enormously large hot tub, lounge areas around gas fire pits, hammocks hidden in the beautiful lounge area to just relax in the shade and forget about everything. The Pub,Store & Cafe are great amenities and all centrally located by the pool. This is Glamping in the Island Keys!!!!

I almost don't want to review this KOA because everyone will want to go. This is an AMAZING campground. The staff work tirelessly to keep the park clean and they are all super friendly and helpful. The amenities are outstanding from the activities, rental items( boats, kayaks, bikes) to the full liquor BAR and live music. The camp store has everything if you forgot to pack something and offer quick bites to eat. The location is perfect for a quick day trip to Key West. Can't wait to go back!
