General Campground Information

New for 2024!

We are so super excited to be joining the KOA family. We think our little campground on the bluff will look pretty good in yellow and we can't wait to show off. Plans! Oh, do we have plans! The 2024 camping season will see debuts of our KampK9 and a new playground. Stay tuned as much more is soon to come.

Pets

We love pets! We ask that all pets travel with a rabies certificate that can be presented to the office upon arrival. Our RV site rates include two furry companions - any additional pets must be approved, and an additional fee of $5 per pet per night will be added to your stay. We do not allow pets in our cabins.

Bluff Safety

The Bluff that offers us such exquisite views of Lake Ontario and beautiful sunsets can also be dangerous.  For that reason, we restrict our water view sites to adults only.  We ask that you exercise caution and stay a minimum of 10 ft away from the drop off.

Visitor Policy

All visitors must register in our office.  Day visitors are welcome at Sodus Point Lake Ontario KOA.  The cost is $5 per car.  We reserve the right to limit visitors based on the capacity of the campground.  Visitors staying past 8pm are then considered guests and will be added to the registered guests folio.

Campfires and Firewood

Campfires are encouraged unless unusually dry weather has triggered local burn restrictions. Please make sure your campfire is attended at all times and don't forget to extinguish your fire completely before leaving the area. We ask that all guests only burn wood purchased at our camp store, we happily delivery right to your campsite, call or stop by the office to order. Fire starters, roasting sticks, and marshmallows are available for purchase at our camp store.

Propane

Located at the campground entrance, propane is available for purchase during camp store hours.

9am - 5pm

Laundry Room

Our newly renovated laundry room is open 24 hours for your convenience. Change is available at the office during store hours.

Garbage Pick Up

Trash pick-up is available during office hours. Simply place your garbage curbside in a tied garbage bag and our staff will take it away. We ask that trash is not placed for pick-up during the evening and overnight hours. A dumpster is also available for all guests of the campground across from the registration office.

Parking

We are a small campground and there is only room for one camping unit and one vehicle at your campsite.  Any additional vehicles must be approved since we have limited visitor parking.

Cancellation Policy

Cancellation & Deposit Policy
Daily / Weekly
-The 1st night's stay is due upon reservation.  
-$10 fee to cancel at any time.  
-If canceled 48 hours or less before arrival, your deposit is forfeited. 
-KOA Select a Site fee is not refundable.
Monthly
-A 50% deposit is due upon reservation.  
-$10 fee to cancel at any time.  
-If canceled with less than 30 days' notice, your deposit is forfeited.  
-Electric is metered and due at the end of each month
Holidays
-Payment in full is due upon reservation. No refund if canceled at any time.
