Staff very efficient and polite. With the qualifier that it was Labor Day weekend and crowded, the sites were a little close, but the road seemed as narrow as they could make. Made everything feel slightly claustrophobic. I would recommend but not on holiday.

Best KOA, great welcome, easy access, food truck on premises, fully stocked camp store. Was only there for one night, but it was a good one. Kudos to the staff.

Making my reservation one of the choices was a site that said “accommodates rigs 55-65 feet in length,” which I selected. Checking in I was placed in a 45 ft site where my rig stuck out front and back. Don’t offer specific length sites if you aren’t going to honor the reservation. That is called bait and switch. I was changed to the longer site, which I had reserved, after much argument

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

A09 is a 60ft site that should had accommodated a 23 ft travel trailer with no issues. Our 65 ft sites were booked for Labor Day weekend. If you would have preferred one of those site we do offer a select my site program. Site lengths do no determine the price. All our 50/30 full sites are the same.

So expensive( prolly why it is half empty on a holiday weekend) and not that pristine from what I had heard about others. There was a scum film on top of pool so did not use it and it was so hot out. Won't be back.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

We did have a large amount of one night travelers over the holiday, mornings clear and nights fill up. Our pool was at capacity each day with lots of swimmers during the 100° heat. Lots of lotions require hourly cleaning and chemical checks to code.

We only stayed one night to, and one night from our final destination. Staff is great. Bathrooms were a bit sparce and we've stayed at camps with nicer dog parks, but overall decent.

First time staying at this KOA with our new camper trailer - had a great time, wonderful owners and customer service, nice and clean property, really enjoyed the pizza delivered to our trailer, and the relaxing pool!

We had a one night stay while passing through the area. The park was easy to access and seemed to be in good order.

There was dog poop everywhere. Sites are not the length advertised

We are sorry to hear about the cleanliness of your site! Our team checks sites each morning but some folks have trouble cleaning up after their pets. For future reference please let us know if you are towing larger than a truck so we can accommodate properly.

This is a great spot. Showers and washrooms are spotless. It is quiet here. We were just overnighters, on the way west to Montana. And there is a Starbucks 10 minutes away!

Employee was awesome. She did everything! Loved all the stuff available to campers with kids. Much more than expected for a koa of this size. Pizza was great too!

The only thing I didn't like was the text messages as I was in route to campground. Directions/instructions by text useless while driving.

We do not condone texting and driving. Most of the time a companion is there to help with instructions or there may be gas stops to check messages. This is the easiest way for us to reach guests for a change to driving directions.

We were greeted by Megan. She escorted us to our site (G71). We were able to check in after getting hooked up. Loved that option. It was very hot so we did not have the opportunity to enjoy the paved patio. We travel with 2 dogs so it was nice to have close access to the dog playground. Megan also delivered our pizza right to our door that night ~ what a nice service! Great staff!! Thank you!

This is a very nice campground. It has a lot of amenities. I have been to several KOA’s that were disappointing. This location will not disappoint you.

We only stayed one night on our journey back home, but this campground was exactly what we needed! Jenny and Megan (I think - I forgot to write it down!) were so friendly and helpful in getting us settled. The sites were clean and level and spacious. The pool was inviting and the dog park, though not enormous, was big enough for some running. The facilities were clean and cared for.

Nice grass area. Women’s bathroom was very clean. Mens was horrible. No paper towels and one stall didnt lock, one no toilet paper one was covered in pooh. Hopefully just poor campers using bathroom. Would still spend a night while traveling through.

We agree on the mens restroom. The housekeeping staff does their best to keep items maintained throughout the week. However, sometimes we do run across very inconsiderate campers. The housekeeping staff got a bonus that day!

Koa prices are too high. The RV PARK was practically empty. KOA is going to price themselves out of the market.

We always enjoy our stay at Sioux City North. The hosts are friendly and helpful. The camp is clean and well maintained. In addition, they serve a pretty good pizza.

We stopped overnight on a long drive. We checked in after hours and everything was easy. The bathroom showers were clean, the campground was well maintained.

We have stayed here a few times now, always an overnight stay on our way north or south. Nice campground, well maintained, great foolproof system of after hour drop-ins without a reservation. We have never been there at the height of the season, but I'm sure it's beautiful when it greens up.
