It was beautiful and truly everything we could hope for! the only two down falls is; one we thought we'd have all the basic cookware but we didn't have any cookie pans therefore we couldn't use the oven and we didn't have basic cooking utensils such as spatula, tongs, etc. second downfall was the wifi, though it wasn't a huge deal but with kids it was for us not being able to stream Netflix, Hulu.

The cabin we stayed in was so nice and clean. The site on the outside was well kept. We rented the peddle bikes and explored the newer looking secrionand was very impressed by the changes that were made. The pools are clean and clear with plenty of seating. The employees always made you feel welcome.

The deluxe cabin we stayed in was very clean. Our family loved all the activities that we could do there, like the jump pad, playgrounds and pools. The staff was very friendly and helpful with everything.

This park has over 200 sites w/more under construction but is well laid-out and organized. Our site had a great paved patio with a nice umbrella table and chairs. There are 2 pools and lots of activities for kids. People were friendly; this is a great spot if you're looking to spend some time around Lake Erie. We would highly recommend this park.

Although the site I was given had full hook-ups (as requested) the water and sewer hook-ups were on the wrong side of the camper. I had to purchase another sewer hose from the office to attach to the sewer hook up. VERY AWKWARD and inconvenient! The same inconvenient and awkward hook up for the water. I would never recommend this KOA to family or friends. Too Loud and too busy!!

There has to be someone who monitors the pool. There absolutely should not be 5,6,7 year old kids without parents. It is not my responsibility to watch other people's children. If someone drowns, I am afraid to say you'll be held responsible.

It was very pleasant. If any kids at play grounds had any issues there was workers there to see what happen and took care of issues. Camp sites are all well taken care of. Will be back for another stay.

The pool was refreshing and the food/ice cream was delicious!! It was a surprise that our site had a pergola which shielded our pop up. Suggestion: Maybe choose family friendly songs for the pool area and start playing the music at 9:00 am? The music was turned on at 8:00 am and some campers liked to catch up on sleep. Otherwise, this is by far one of our favorite camping sites!!

There is something for every member of the family! My family loved the pools, the bouncing air mattress, mining for treasure and gold, and the train ride! Thank you again for an amazing family vacation getaway just before school.

This was our first time staying in a cabin here. It was clean and adorable. The staff at check-in and check out were awesome. Anytime we had a question, the staff was super helpful. We are already planning our next trip!

To be honest our stay felt like home. Everyone was so kind, helpful and always ready to help with whatever we needed. This is by far the best vacation I have had every. I will definitely be visiting again.

We only got to stay for 2 nights and regretted that we couldn't stay longer. The staff was very kind and helpful, and made us feel they were happy to have us there. This campground will be our stay of choice the next time we are in northwestern Ohio!

Our cabin was very clean and well stocked. Coffee maker did not work but that was about the only issue we had. Initially got the wrong size sheets for the bed and the staff was very quick to fix that for us. Lots of fun things for the kids to do, and great location - 7 min drive from Cedar Point! We would definitely come back for another stay.

Awful. Quiet hours never enforced. Next door neighbors blasted music riddled with foul language the entire time they were at their house, and into the night, at least as late as 2am. Called the security "after hours" number multiple times but only got voice mail. Left messages both on Fri & Sat nites but zero was done. We had early morning baseball games both days for a tournament & had no sleep.

The staff was amazing. Every person we met greeted us with a smile and a hello. It is obvious the employees enjoy what they do. The park was extremely clean. The activities available were fantastic and exciting. Great job, everyone!!!

The staff was extremely friendly and helpful!!! The kids loved the pools, jump pad & park!! We used the 2 of the many shower houses & they were warm & clean!! The train was adorable!! We can not wait to come back with our entire family!!

My one issue I had was the lot was too small for our camper and truck. And we asked if there was any sites open That was a pull through and they said no but of course there was tons.

It was the most expensive site we had in our camping trip, but definitely the worst. The site was too small, no trees, old picnic table, no privacy and too near the train tracks. Bay was a swamp.

Sorry you had a bad experience. The site you booked is advertised as our lowest rate and just a simple site for a 1 night stay or a pass through. Our description explains that these are a cheap in and out site. We have plenty of deluxe sites we could of switch if you were not happy.GM

This was my first time staying at a KOA. I loved all the activities you have for kids to do. I wish the fenced-in area was open all the time for walking purposes and cabins were more spread out for privacy. I had to smell my neighbor's cigarette smoke all weekend :( I suggest adding TP, dish soap, and paper towels to the amenities list. We had a great time otherwise!

Jennifer and Nathan were so nice! I talked to Jennifer first about spot. Seemed a little pricey. But because of her pleasant disposition i decided to check it out. Nathan was wonderful in handling my reservation and having me join KOA rewards. KC

The staff was great! Breakfast was also a great part of our stay. So why such a low score? The smell of sewage gas around our site, around the bathroom buildings and in the bathrooms were a bit overwhelming. We came back from cedar point around 11 and it really was very overwhelming. We do not use the water or sewage hook ups only electric.

Sorry you had a bad experience.The smell at 11pm most likely was the quary in town. Sometimes at night when they blast limestone it gives off a rotten egg/propane/sewer smell to someone who is not used to it. It dosent happen often but I guarantee thats what you smelled not our campground. GM

Our cabin was dirty. Kitchen sink was nasty. Bathroom sink was dirty, had toothpaste and hair from previous renter. Floors were dirty. Table had sticky stuff all over. It’s obvious that it hadn’t been cleaned after the last renter. Also, that slider door was disgusting (just the look of the glass) and it barely opened, the track was so filled with dirt and sand. If the room was that filithy someone should of let us know during your 2 day stay so we could of addressed this. We do not rent rooms in that contion. This is a nice park. The people are very friendly, it is clean, easy to find, and near a lot of attractions like Sandusky Bay and Cedar Point. This is an urban campground. Don't expect to be surrounded by nature. Sites are wells spaced and very nice. If you are visiting sites in the Sandusky area this is worth a look.

Very nice stay. We stayed in a pet friendly cabin and pleased with how close the playground and pool was to us. Appreciated the dog park. Very friendly staff. We would stay here again.

We did not feel safe with the radical group 3 percenters parading around the campground. They are a known radical militia group and made members of our party who are persons of color very uneasy. I will recognize many campers like to express their opinions, even political, but this radical group is equivalent to a Nazi flag. We have always stayed at KOA we are seriously rethinking it.

Wanted to go see Lake Erie so took our camper and headed north. found this KOA located in the perfect location. Park was large, clean and pet friendly. We visited many local restaurants and bars. Fished everyday from various piers.

This review is based solely on our limited use of the campground. We were in town for a baseball tournament down the street at SportsForce Park, so we spent very limited time at the campground. The campground is less than one minute drive away from the sports complex! It is also less than a 10 minute drive to Cedar Point amusement park. We did not use any of the amenities during our visit, but I can tell you the staff was very friendly and accommodating. We had an issue with our site upon arrival and they took care of it for us without hesitation. We travel with a 36ft TT and were in site 114. The sites around us had plenty of room for large RVs plus plenty of room in between sites. The concrete pads with patio furniture were very nice.
