The campground was clean and well-kept. We were in the Bay View sites and became bird watchers during our stay watching all of the water birds. Was very central to everything that we wanted to do in Sandusky and we were able to enjoy the pool many times during our hot stay.

Our experience exceeded our expectations!!The campgrounds & cabin were very clean, felt safe & very family friendly! From the moment we checked in til we left every single employee we came across was nice & welcoming. Our kids loved all the amenities on site. We will definitely recommend this to friends & family! Thank you for providing a place for our family to make beautiful memories!!

Awesome campground. The entire staff is fantastic and very friendly. Great security and very family friendly. Clean facilities, excellent and good prices on food. Campground continues to improve their facilities every year. Looking forward to our next stay. Thank you Bayshore staff and owners!!!!

We stayed here for 5 days prior to moving to the cedar point campground. Wish we would have never moved the KOA is so much nicer and much much cleaner! My mom and I were sitting by the pool the one day and had a lovely conversation with the owner! Such a sweet guy. Love that this place is family owned. We will for sure be back!

Overpriced for the site selections. site is not level. guide brought us in the wrong direction and had a heck of a time backing in. Fire pit too close to camper & unable to back up all the way. Need a buffer on the back in sites too close to the neighbors if both have a fire.

Unit wasn't ready upon arrival due to maintenance on the AC but was ready shortly after. However AC still couldn't keep up so during the day it was 80+ in the cabin. The refrigerator never got cold, when noticed, called and they brought a mini fridge but wasn't enough room to hold what we had so we lost some food/milk. Cabin next doors porch light was way too bright and left on all night.

The salt add were very friendly and welcoming. The grounds were very clean and taken care of, you can tell the staff cares about the guests experience. Restrooms were always clean and stocked. Will certainly be returning and recommending this campground to others!!

Great location close to Cedar Point but the campground is very old & the bathrooms & showers need a MAJOR update. WI-FI also needs upgrading too. Had no WI-FI service at all.

The grounds were clean and well maintained. We noticed the addition of several campsites. We appreciate the concrete patio, fire ring and outdoor furnishings! Great job…staff very friendly and helpful!

Everything was great. The only thing we were missing was a place to hang towels, wet bathing suits, etc. A few over the door hangers would be a great addition!!

Super nice park. right on the water, very accommodating host. Love the young people, they are on top of everything and work hard to please you. park was big, laid out great, lots of kids and activities. definitely a 5 star stay!!

We loved the sites with the pavilion, tables and chairs, fire pit with chairs, so much care went into that!! Pool was great, staff was nice, activities and movies were super fun!! We enjoyed our time with you very much!!

This is a great campsite with tons of stuff for kids. The pool is nice and clean, the playgrounds are fun and the bouncy thing is a hit with the kids.

They only thing I disliked which was no fault of KOA. We were right along the lake and everyone would bring their dog along the lake to go to potty. No one cleaned up after their dog.

Your staff entered my cabin and stole my property. I only thought it was our food but after unpacking I realized they also took my white gucci flip flops. The staffer came tk the office and knew they had my 700dollar shoes and said absolutely nothing and never came to return my food to me as promised. I waited for 15min then got a call 40min later from the office. I will be calling tomorrow.

Nice place to stay a few days. The park was very well maintained. The amenities were pretty good. Our 4 children were pretty happy with this park. It did lack a water park or bigger, more up to date pools, but the cost and location were good for us.

Wanted to go see Lake Erie so took our camper and headed north. found this KOA located in the perfect location. Park was large, clean and pet friendly. We visited many local restaurants and bars. Fished everyday from various piers.

This review is based solely on our limited use of the campground. We were in town for a baseball tournament down the street at SportsForce Park, so we spent very limited time at the campground. The campground is less than one minute drive away from the sports complex! It is also less than a 10 minute drive to Cedar Point amusement park. We did not use any of the amenities during our visit, but I can tell you the staff was very friendly and accommodating. We had an issue with our site upon arrival and they took care of it for us without hesitation. We travel with a 36ft TT and were in site 114. The sites around us had plenty of room for large RVs plus plenty of room in between sites. The concrete pads with patio furniture were very nice.
