Meet Your Hosts
The Salt Lake City KOA welcomes many returning campers, who enjoy the location close to downtown Salt Lake City.
Vicky, Stacey, and the warm, friendly staff want to make your stay wonderful. We host family reunions, groups and individuals. All are important to us.
The campground has many mature shade trees that provide a cool and comfortable environment, as well as sites with little or no trees for a clear satellite view, and full hook-ups include 50-amp electrical service, Direct TV, and Tengonet wifi.
Preston Menlove is managing partner, and third generation owner. He has redesigned the game room, patio and night registration area.
A beautiful new entrance on the West side of the property is in use in anticipation of the light rail system being installed by the city.
The family enjoys the adventure and challenge in keeping up with the RV industry. "We're a full-service property. We keep adding more and more services. It's been necessary to upgrade all areas of utilities, from Internet service to cable TV service, phone services and WiFi coverage," stated Darren Menlove.
Many of their campers stay at the Salt Lake City KOA because of its' proximity to the nearby Temple Square and the Family History Library.
The campground can accommodate big rigs. We have an on-site RV wash, laundry, propane sales, restaurants, and summer activities.
