New left hand turn to park entrance
With the new UTA Trax line running through North Temple, there is a new light that all guests must turn left at. Our GPS address is 110 N Garside Ave (1460 West). The traffic sign above the light reads 1460 W. This is the correct street to make your turn. See you soon!
UTA TRAX Transit Line
We are pleased to announce that the new light rail train from the Salt Lake Airport to downtown Salt Lake City will be starting up on April 13, 2013! Guest may pick up the Trax train just west of the KOA campground and ride for a low fare of $2.50/person. Thank you for being patient with us during this last 3 yrs of construction!
Kennecott Copper Mine
Due to a major landslide in March 2013, the visitor center at Kennecott Copper Mine will not be opening for the 2013 season.
As an alternative, in June, City Sights tours will be offering a guided scenic tour up the back side of the mine for those who do not wish to miss the opportunity to see one of the world's largest open pit mines. Some say the view is even better on the back side than if you were actually at the Visitors Center!
Meet Your Hosts
"Being a full service campground, we strive to provide our guests with a memorable experience. Exceptional customer service is our number one goal!"
The Menlove family has been sharing the camping experience with guests from all over the world for three generations. They, as a family, are always looking towards the future of the RV industry, maintaining the relaxing atmosphere of our park, and meeting the ever-changing needs of their guests. Their managers, Victoria Orme and Stacey Ashwood, have over 37 years experience in this industry between the two of them.
"The best part of my day is when I get to talk to the guests about where they have been and where they are going. It is invigorating to feel their excitement about the places they have been and the adventures that are just beginning." Stacey said.
Vicky and Stacey, along with their staff, strive to provide above and beyond customer service to every guest. Whether you are here as an overnight guest just passing through, or you are looking to climb your family tree in downtown Salt Lake, you can expect the staff to assist you in accomplishing any task you wish to undertake with a smile.
Here's to making memories!
