No shade. Ants at the power pole got in our camper. Wet, grassy, gravely mess. Hosts were great. Sites are terrible. Too close and no real grass. This is tolerable for one night. I wouldn't come here for a destination.

This KOA was wonderful! Super clean, friendly staff, nice and peaceful. It's close to home for us so we will be making it a regular weekend getaway!

one of the nicest facilities in the area. we drove around to see what nacogdoches had to offer in campsites. nothing even close to matching KOA Rusk.

We had initially booked to stay somewhere else, but when we got there, it wasn't very nice. So we called the Rusk KOA (we had stayed here before) and asked if there was any available spots. We packed up the next morning and went to Rusk, and so glad we did. Was an awesome experience again. We even reserved our spot (and a cabin for other family) for Thanksgiving! This will be our go-to place.

The site was lovely. The tent area was nestled under pine trees and were nicely spaced. The facilities were clean and the staff super nice. Too bad I was there for only one night.

Our stay was great! Staff is super welcoming and helpful. The location is nestled away from the main road it’s awesome! Pool, games for the younger kids. Wifi was great to finish some remote work I needed to do. Def will be back again.

Stopped here for two nights avoiding the hurricane and ended up staying a week because we loved it. The staff was so nice and were out nonstop maintaining the property. The kids play area had a large playground, bounce pad, pool and a mining station with bags of gems to buy. Our daughter loved finding the hidden yellow pine cones to get a free popsicle! We 100% would stay here again

First time visitors due to Hurricane evacuation. We were pleasantly surprised by how clean the entire facility was. The staff was so friendly.

Stayed at this KOA 8 months and really enjoyed our time there. Very nice people that work there and keep it up very nicely. The bathroom area is extremely clean and smells good. Nice pool and playground equipment. If you need a little quiet place to spend some time, this is the place. Thanks for taking care of us!

Workers were so friendly and helpful!! We were there due to Hurricane Ida. First time we were blessed with the best breakfast!! If anyone is play a trip near there... y’all need to visit KOA Holiday in Rusk Tx

We were so pleased. All staff were so welcoming and went above and beyond to make us feel welcomed. They were so willing to assist with whatever and whenever. Campground was so clean and well kept. Great experience!!!

Great people. Crappy spot. West sun, no trees for shade, gravel...no grass. Cost extra to pick your site. Stayed one night. I think they put one nighters in the worst spots. This is the 2nd time in a crappy spot.

Our site was perfect and the manager(s) were exceptional. Very friendly. The Rusk location was sublime and very quiet. The nature trail was a big bonus. Going back in October!

We had a great time staying at this KOA for a couple of days with our grandsons. Site #10 was the perfect spot for easy access to the office, swimming pool and other activities for the kids. Everything is very clean and well maintained, plus everyone was extremely helpful and friendly. Highly recommend this park!

This KOA is friendly, clean, and always a great place to stay. It would be nice if the wi-fi was a little bit stronger - but you are in the country.

We had a wonderful stay, everyone was so nice, made you feel at home. Very nice campground, nice level sites, would definitely recommend this campground as a place to visit ( if you do order the pizza, it was delicious ).

I really enjoyed my time here! Grounds were amazing! Clean showers, breakfast in the am, bbq, hidden blackberry bushes, rentable tp's/cabins, swimming pool, huge wifi radius, rentable pedal carts, great pricing, and lots of room! Was at the Russian rock festival during this time, and there wasn't a single thing to complain about. The weather was perfect as well, so this was definitely a good time for the festival. Thank you to the staff for being so friendly and accommodating! Highly recommend anyone looking for a family friendly camping location surrounded by tons of pine trees. Added bonus of being next to the Crockett National Forest, where we camped the night before coming to KOA. These are the parts of Texas I really love, beautiful nature areas everywhere and small quaint country towns with amazing cafes.

The.stay are amazing very beautiful quiet,clean Spent the eeek there was amazing The owner is amazing They have 2 teepees and several nice cabins to rent They guest Saturday morning breakfast of Parkes but for only 10 bucks you will love the deluxe breakfast

The friendly staff is what really sets this place a part. We had a great stay in one of the cabins and the staff was helpful at every turn. Good hiking trails, we'll furnished cabins, close to Mission Tejas and the Crocket national forest.
