Big reason for the low rating is because of the facilities for dogs. Please take a look at how other KOAs provide green grass or turf areas for dogs rather than DIRT. The Ogallala KOA is a great example. Even the Love's close to this KOA is much better.

After making a reservation online we checked in, only to learn we mistakenly had made it at the Green River KOA. was told “It’s a five hour drive.” I said we were too tired for five hours driving and would just have to stay here. I then called Green River KOA to cancel and was unable to get a refund. Next day we saw that it was only NINE miles down the road! Very misleading and dishonest beh

Way overpriced for what you get. Gravel parking lot, only one toilet worked in men's restroom, two toilets in women's, pool drained of water. Honestly, the worst KOA we have ever stayed in. Don't understand why the price is so high for such bad facilities! Will not stay there again and would not recommend it to anyone!

Your place is in disrepair. Sinks don’t work, bathrooms dirty & doors don’t lock, garbage is piled up and overflowing the dumpsters, looks like no one has watered or weeded in a few years. Does anybody there care ? The staff at front desk very nice and helpful. But whoever owns it should be ashamed. Your laziness & disrespect for campers is disgraceful.

First KOA that had their office locked at 5:00 pm which made us go to guard shack and select a camp site from a folder of available sites and do our own paper work and go to site. Don’t try to call them for a reservation after 4 pm either because they say they will only take “walk-ins”. They could have processed my credit card and had the money regardless of whether it would be a no show.

Nice gravel site with full hook ups . The best part is the utilities were well placed and the sewer was flush with the ground level , unlike some other KoA's where the sewer was 6" to 12" above ground level thus making draining a bit of a challenge .

Staff was very pleasant and made the process easy to check in. This KOA sets far enough off the road so you do not hear highway traffic which is a big plus. This is a facility that is just like a parking lot for RVs. I was not impressed with the K-9 KAMP either. It was Dusty, dirty and very dry. There was a poop bag dispenser but there were no poop bags in it.

The tent sites are the nicest with a private grass area. The rest is all open gravel spaces reminds me of an old drive in theater. Pool empty. Good enough to sleep for the night. Men’s bathroom had only one stall the other out of order. Older bathrooms. Showers had black in the bottom edges. There are not many other options in the area. There are two center private toilet/showers that were nice.

A bit like staying in a gravel parking lot, yet adequate to our needs. The sewer backed up when dumping the black tank (yuck!).

Granted, we reserved same day but…. We’re told they would have a spot to fit class A and trailer. It was barely big enough for the Coach. Trailer blocked the entire road. Had us move a couple spots deeper in. Still hung out on both ends but room for traffic to get by. Staff tried hard to get us a spot. Would have been happier if they had just told us we wouldn’t fit.

Meh. This is mediocre at best. Some of their materials do mention a pool but it doesn't have a working pool, and from the looks of it it's been out of Service a few years yet their 2023 booklet shows the pool on the map, as well as a jump pad that also doesn't exist. For the price I had to pay, it is t worth it but we didn't have much choice. If I have to stay again I will but will likely avoid.

The trailer sewer hook up was too high to allow the sewer hose to hook up to drain properly. The men’s restroom was in very poor condition. One of the toilets was out of order and the other one was about to fall over it was so loosely attached. The shower was the worst I have ever seen. The tile was falling off the curb. It is in need of some major upkeep.

Our site was nice, but unfortunately it was so windy we couldn’t enjoy it. Pool was drained, despite that it was open season. A little surprised that there were oil storage tanks right next door; kind of spoiled our view of the area.

Electric only due to a rally that time. Worked okay for us. No problems except someone smoked nearby for a while—smoke comes into RVs readily even with an air purifier running. My wife has real trouble with second hand smoke.

Rock Springs/Green River has everything you need for an overnight stay on your way somewhere else. There are many sites; it's open with plenty of fresh Wyoming air; it's up the street from Pilot/Flying J and is close to major superstores. There appear to be trails in the area for ATV enthusiasts who wish to explore and spend a bit more time there. We stayed there twice, coming and going somewhere.

Been out traveling for 2 months. This is the worst rv park we have encountered. Advertised a pool was not working no rate adjustment.

No grass; poor location--right on highway. Very noisy. Office closed at 7pm. We came in needing ice, so this was inconvenient.Expensive in my opinion, since nothing really nice was offered. No place to wash dishes. Overall a real bummer.

We broke down and had to be towed to the campsite. We didn't stay in any of their places. We had our own fifth wheel. But they got us a spot right away, They were very kind and helpful. Cindy is the sweetest. She would come by and check on us. Everyone went out of their way to help. Treated us like family. We will be back to stay.

My buddy and I made the questionable choice of renting a tent site in bad weather. The staff called us and helped us figure out a cabin instead. Laura, thank you for the reality check and help.
