New Orleans KOA Holiday Recreation

Enjoy your time at our campground when not in the French Quarter! Being a city park means we are small, but we have tried to pack as much in here as we can! We have a pool, playground & recreation hall. Our playground has had a new Gaga Pit added recently. Our recreation hall is complete with a bathroom, TVs, games, puzzles, books, movies, a Foosball table & a Wii. You can ride bikes or walk inside the park or across the street on the Mississippi River levee. We also have something for your doggies. We built a new KampK9, as ours got destroyed in a hurricane. We will be expanding it in the future. Our patio sites have built-in brick fire pits that you can enjoy, or rent one from the office for all other sites & enjoy a fire. We sell firewood in the office & deliver it to your site. During the holidays, we have massive potluck dinners, fires roaring & a movie on the lawn. Enjoy wearing costumes with us for our Halloween event. We also have an annual crawfish boil & an annual crawfish boil bus food truck that delivers to our park! There are many ways to enjoy your downtime while here at the park!

Holiday Potlucks & A Movie On The Lawn

Holiday Potlucks & A Movie On The Lawn

Our park doesn't have many events, as people are always out exploring & don't spend a lot of time at our park. However, when we do have an event, we do it the Big Easy way & go all out! Our holiday potlucks are a feast to behold! We typically have 3 or 4 large tables brimming with amazing holiday foods. Everyone brings a dish to share. We provide regular beverages & guests bring their own alcoholic beverages. We provide seating, but some guests like to bring their own cozy chairs for our movie on the lawn, that always follows dinner. It's a nice, relaxing breaking of bread, after our guests have been in the French Quarter all day enjoying the holiday parades & festivities. Our holiday dinners are spent as one big family, with all the nostalgic feels. Won't you come join us? Your New Orleans KOA family wait your arrival!

Mississippi River Walking/Bike Trail

Mississippi River Walking/Bike Trail

Our park is located directly across the street from the Mississippi River. The river has an entire levee system that runs down it. This levee system has a walking/running/bike trail on top of it. It is a paved, small roadway. You can also walk your pets up there. Our dog park may be small, but you can't get a better dog path/park area than the Mississippi River trail!

Crawfish Boil Bus Food Truck

Crawfish Boil Bus Food Truck

When it is crawfish season here in Nola, we have a food truck (bus) that we partner with, that does crawfish boil. When you order from them, they can either deliver to the campground, or you can drive a short distance to their bus & pick up your crawfish boil, or eat there. Prices range depending on the cost of the crawfish. Open Wed.-Sun. during crawfish season (March to mid-June). Hours vary, so check their website.
