Meet Your Hosts

Open All Year

Welcome to the closest KOA to the French Quarter and the finest food, sassiest jazz and wildest times in the South.

This KOA makes the Big Easy, well, easy! It's the closest KOA to the French Quarter and the finest food, sassiest jazz and wildest times in the South. It's a great place to recharge or use Wi-Fi in a serene setting with concrete pads and grass. Catch the shuttle or city buses to sample the piquant pleasures of real Cajun cooking or the one-of-a-kind charms of the French Quarter and Bourbon Street. Bike or hike the trail on the Mississippi levee right across the street. Downtown, saunter the famous riverbanks and watch the paddle wheelers ferry back and forth like in times gone by. Visit the world-class Audubon Zoo, Audubon Aquarium of the Americas and National World War II Museum. Let KOA's staff arrange swamp airboat trips or tours to nearby attractions such as plantations, cemeteries and casinos.

Meet Your Hosts

Close

The Fedderman family fell in love with New Orleans long before they became campground owners here, having spent more than 30 years visiting 'The Big Easy' as tourists and conventioneers from the real estate and travel industries.

"We'd been tent campers and RVers since 1961. Once the park became available to us, we bought it," say the Feddermans.

The Feddermans' goal is to share their extensive knowledge of New Orleans, helping campers enjoy the location as much as they do. "People come scared, timid, and unsure, but leave happy. Every day we strive to provide a safe, clean and quiet place for campers to stay while they visit New Orleans."

The Feddermans personally make sure their campers are taken care of and welcome everyone to the "The Big Easy KOA."
