We visited in early November 2023. This is a lovely campground. Woodsy, quiet, beautiful, great location right off of the highway with no highway noise nice people at the check-in desk. The terrain of the campground allowed for some decks that were raised and “overhanging” - cool. the tent sites were wonderful. Shaded, totally cleared, flat, well drained tiered. Perfect!

It was a very pleasant stay. We were greeeted with enthusiasm and taken to our site. There were no problems. Easy in and easy out.

Overnight stop. There are always improvements at this KOA.The staff member that led us to our site was really helpful. Laundry facilities were clean

The new pull thru sites are very nice albeit expensive. A little more gravel in places would help with the dust. I will be back. It is located well for our travel when needing a one night stay

We store our Airstream here when we’re not traveling. We move to a full-hookup site for a few days when preparing for a trip. This is a beautiful campground. The owners have made good use of the uneven, wooded terrain. Sites are roomy and all facilities are meticulously maintained. The bathhouses are always clean. Best of all are the staff: always friendly, helpful, and accommodating. Thank you!

This is a really nice KOA. Staff are super to say the least. Very informative and friendly. Also knowledgeable about the area. I was a bit disappointed that our site, number 75, was not level. For the price we paid I honestly didn't expect that. I would certainly stay here again.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Nice amenities although we didn't use much. And the tiered set up in the woods is very nice. Could Use a couple more lights for walking at night. And the tv cable system was not very clear.

Our cable works great. Please, always ask the staff if you are having issues. We are more than happy to come make sure you have everything set up correctly.

Nicest Virginia KOA so far with enough room for everyone. My only suggestion is that with a deluxe cabin/lodge that can accommodate 6 people is to provide a coffee pot that makes 10 cups instead of 5. Staff was accommodating and friendly.

Campground was nice and right off the highway, so easy access. Sites were wide and level. Although they did provide cable, it would be nice to have decent wi-fi in this day and age, especially with the revenue they are generating. To their credit, they do say it is not good.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

While I am glad to hear you think we are generating so much income, the fact of the matter is that there is no high speed internet available in our area...and I mean none. There are grants currently working on obtaining funding to bring high speed internet to our rural area, but it is not here yet.

Great location for numerous reasons. Of course the location is great but the staff and the site made this the best stay of our trip.

A very convenient location yet far enough off the highway that there wasn’t a lot of noise. Lots to see in the are to encourage a return trip. The only downside is the lack of WiFi. It was bitter cold at night so we wanted to stay inside and watch a movie.

Very clean, quick in and out from I81 and very friendly staff. I thought entry and exit was a little tight for a 45 ft M/H towing.

the camp sites and facilities were very nice. The locatio was to close to the Interste to really reax and enjoy the experience.

We just pulled in for the night. Every one in the office was very friendly and helpful. The campground was very nice. Would definitely like to to for a longer stay.

Hilly and most roads covered in gravel making it a little slippery when riding a heavy Harley.....also should not allow people to fly political flags slamming the President not what we want to see when we are on vacation alot of campgrounds ban this. Good location for visiting Lexington and Natural Bridge state park. Worker with dark hair and beard had a nasty attitude when asked a question.

Very nice campground directly off of Rt 81. Close to local attractions. The park has had regular upgrades, everything was clean and new looking. Sites were level and full hookup/sewer/cable/wifi were available. Staff is friendly and helpful. I'll stay here again.
