Lynden's Farmer's Day Parade is one of the longest running parades in the northwest. It is held as a salute to those who feed us and enhance us. An eclectic menagerie of cars, bands, trucks, tractors and horses. The parade begins at 10:30 A.M. and runs along Front Street from 10th Street to 3rd Street.
Celebrate the largest harvest of raspberries in North America here in Lynden, Washington. Mid-July is the peak time to get your share of Lynden's bountiful red raspberry harvest. Lynden produces approximately 2/3 of the world's red raspberries. The festival is held on Front Street in Lynden. Friday 10:00 A.M. to 8:00 P.M. and Saturday 8:00 A.M. to 6:00 P.M. Admission is Free. The Northwest Washington Fair is Lynden's biggest entertainment attraction. Drawing nearly a quarter of a million people annually during the third week in August. The emphasis of the fair is mainly agricultural, with entertainment and exhibits filling the 35 acre fairground on Front Street. Lynden's Annual holiday celebration begins at 6:00 P.M. with the beloved Lighted Christmas Parade. Visitors are treated to holiday carolers and a dazzling display of lighted trucks, cars, floats, farm equipment and more! The procession starts at Fairway Center and travels Front Street through downtown. In addition all over town there are special lighted displays. Come and join us for Lynden in lights.
