Staff is friendly, park is very clean you see staff working and checking on things in the park. Inside store has some great little crafts and items to buy plus the selection of RV supplies it great too. Lubbock seems to be getting a lot a rain so I would like to see road graded, and gravel applied.

This Koa needs some updates we were in Kansas right before this stay and it was so nice had concrete pads which makes it nice when you have to kneel down instead on rocks.

Even though this KOA is near a highway making it very convenient and easy to find, it was quiet!

Very convenient place to stay but rules are not enforced and people park everywhere even in the drive and some don’t unhook their towed vehicles. The long term camping area is an eyesore looks very tacky.

We were towed to the Lubbock KOA after our truck broke down. They were wonderful, the owners worked with us and were just very nice people. In addition, all the staff were great!

Checked in rather late but office still open (8p). Friendly staff, site/campground was good. We will stay again!

Everyone at this KOA was so friendly and helpful. They were really busy but they made you feel like you were the only one there. They made sure you had everything you needed.

We stay here every time we come to Lubbock, which is about 10 times per year. We love the location and the staff is always wonderful!

Excellent place. Clean and very nice people.

This campground was in a good location but not much for amenities. Very tight spaces and very close to a highway so not very quiet that way. Campers were friendly and owner was very friendly. Bathrooms were clean. The store was well stocked and clean.

Good park, staff found a way to add one more day for us. Most lots are smaller so if you are a big rig you have to be creative for parking. When we left we were going to ask a neighbor to move a truck so we could drive by, until someone left before us and we could drive through a lot. All good though.

Love the pool! Helps to get the travel kinks out of a girl.

Very nice great staff

This is the second best KOA we have stayed at. Our second stay was just as good as the first one.

Stayed at this KOA as a stopover on the way in and out of Texas. Park is nice, but needs some work on drainage and potholes. The staff is very courteous and helpful. Overall, a very good park.

Just an overnight stop yet pleasurable.

I appreciated staying here. The ladies in the office, one worked there and the other was a guest. They made me feel at home and made a great suggestion for a restaurant close by. The grounds were clean, and very important so were the bathrooms.

It was excellent!

Arrived after hours and check in was easy with map showing us our assigned spot. Nice spaces. Glad there was a K9 Kamp for the pups to be off leash for a little bit!! Shower/bathroom was clean. Hot tub felt good although the water was a little low.

Between the highway outside as well as trains I didn’t care for the parking lot

Great place!!!

We've stayed at Lubbock KOA Journey before - even recently. The staff is courteous, no complaints there. This time the wifi was completely useless. We could access the network and it connected about 20% of the time, if that. I reported it to the staff both days we stayed, & they were apologetic, but seemed unable to do anything about it. Also, in site 13 the road & RR noise kept us up.

The water pressure was non-existent and there wasn’t any grass around for my pup. It had rained so much the day we arrived everything was pure mud. The lady that checked us in was very curt and didn’t take the time to go over the amenities.

Need to do something about roads in park to alleviate huge puddles. And rock dog park to alleviate flooding
Oct 11, 2022
This will be the last time I spend my money at this KOA. The muddy road was a little too much for me. They could have put more gravel. Then there are Railroad tracks right by the KOA the horn was very annoying and way to loud. Then there is the highway that with all of the Semi trucks coming by how could anyone get any sleep. The attitude of the lady that check us in was not having a good day.

Convenient location with easy to access pull-through sites. Sites clean and trees trimmed well. Spent one night passing through town and one night on return trip. Second night was in spot 11 and the road noise from HWY-84 was quite noisy. Didn’t experience the noise on first night in. Spot #5. Overall, nice place for overnighting and will use again as we pass through Lubbock frequently.

We just stayed one night as we were just passing through on our trip home. Everything worked very well and bathrooms and campground all very clean and attractive. Easy access off the highway.

Convenient to highway yet relatively quiet.

The facility is okay at best but the guy next to us had a very old camper with a residential air conditioner taped to the side. He had a satan mask over his hitch jack. He was in his early 40s with an early to mid-20s girl with him. He left 3 times during the night for 30 min to an hour. Was he selling drugs or sex trafficking the girl? My wife and I feared for our safety and almost left at 3:30.

Very nice. The hosts were very friendly and helpful. We will stay here again!

We have stayed at the Lubbock KOA, multiple times in the last 31 years that my wife and have been married. Too many times to count, from our motorcyle with pop up camper, to the camping cabins, 3 5th wheels, and now our toyhauler. we really enjoy the Lubbock KOA. We only live 55 miles away, but sometimes we just want to get away for a couple of days, so we have gone to either Lubbock, or Abilene

The staff was very friendly and helpful. It’s a convenient place to stay if you are passing through. Sites are level and easy in & out. Cable TV was appreciated. Had to go to the office to use WiFi as the signal kept blipping off & on at our site.

We felt so welcomed and at home here! The staff and other guests were so friendly. This campground is older, but very clean, it has a homey feel, cats and chickens roaming around. I loved the rooster! There is free coffee in the office, often goodies as well. The heated pool and hot tub were amazing! The bathroom and showers are clean. The laundry room takes your credit card! No scrounging for quarters! The campground was pretty quiet, even with some train and road noise. Would love to come back !

We rented the tent spot so we can sleep in our SUV and the spot was perfect. Hot tub and pool area comfortable and inviting. Owner and her help were so fun to talk to over coffee. Whole park safe, quiet, beautiful and easy in and out. Great job!

Great little no frills campground! Good value. We couldn't figure out online booking, so we just gave them a call. The employee was pleasant and helpful. We would definitely stay again. We stayed in one of the two cabins. They are small and staff informed us of this in advance. We were provided a key at the office/small store which operated a deadbolt. Two windows inside, one of which was able to be opened. The floors were dirty unfortunately, so we did some cleaning ourselves. The bed was awful. We didn't sleep well because the "mattress", which would probably pass for a mattress pad, was about 4" thick and plastic with nothing under it. If we stay again, we'll just bring something else rather than bedding only. There was a TV in the cabin which was nice and the a/c, oil heater kept us comfortable. The campground is on the small side but well kept. Even with a full camp, they did a good job of keeping it clean. All gravel. I think there were two dumpsters. Staying in a cabin really helped to keep the traffic noise down. If youre bringing pets, please be aware the "dog park" is very small.. probably 150 square feet. We took advantage of local parks. There were 3 showers and four bathroom stalls in the ladies room. Water was hot. We checked out the pool and it was nice. Everything worked and the space was clean and inviting. Cute decor. Liked that the pool wasn't rectangular and got wider at the deep end. It's small but still nice with a 6 ft depth. There was also a nice medium sized playground with a fair amount of equipment for guests enjoyment.
