1st site 12 had no water. When I informed manager was told oh we’ve had problems with the water at that site for quite awhile. They then directed us to their site 19 which was shaped like a bowl. When we woke in the morning we were in a lake more than a foot deep. No other site in the campground was wet. I got very wet wading to the sewer drain to open it and drained the lot. Spot was standing water, muddy mess to even get in your rv. Definitely needs some maintenance. Been ok if there had been some pallets to put down at your stairs of the rv. Not there fault it had rained, but there could be some plan in case it did. And when dry level and put gravel or road base.

Staff was super friendly, the pool looked green, the poop basket was overflowing, there were no poop bags available. Property looked like it needed general maintenance. I would stay again for a night if needed, but otherwise would pass...

Nice little campground. Could be a little farther away from intestate as some inconsiderate truckers like to jake brake getting off the interstate.

Very disappointed in this KOA. Pool closed for the season. $3.00 discount offered if you use the town pool and bring a receipt. This property is in need of TLC, from restrooms to campsites over grown with weeds. No manager/owner available. Knowing there are KOAs less than 60 miles in either direction I would have chosen differently. Will not be back to Limon.

Simple, convenient place to pull over for the night. Nothing fancy, sites close together, sewer hookups right next to neighbors sitting area. Would stay again for a quick overnight because there is very little else for miles.

No running fresh water, staff late on opening the office. This place is in extremely poor condition. Horrible location as well. I will avoid this place at all cost. I would rather sleep on the side of the highway.

I specifically chose this cabin because it had a tv. Had I known that the cable was OUT all night I wouldn’t have picked that one. I did notice that the smoke detector battery compartment was open and I couldn’t reach it to close it.

Nice campground, our site was level, well stocked store. The pool wasn’t open but a nice new city pool had just opened up. Our son enjoyed the playground and 2 dog parks were good.

Nice level space and clean showers. Just stayed overnight. They do have wonderful pizza and some other food available. Nice place to rest after a long drive. The staff was friendly and helpful. I’d come back.

It rained and my class A Motorhome was standing/surrounded by 4-5” of water, couldn’t take the dog out without walking in the water, electric cord and water hose were under water, had to walk through water to disconnect…the campground had lots of standing deep water throughout the campground..site 49…won’t be returning….I have used this campground for the last years, very disappointing

The location that was perfect, easy on and off Rte 70 and our site was a nice, level pull in. Fortunately for us, our campsite remained dry, but many were underwater due to the evenings rainfall. Our host was super helpful and friendly, recommending a nearby restaurant that was just what we needed after a long day of travel!

This RV park was infested with moths. They crawled onto the cracks on the doors, in the air vents, and in the awning. Our RV was literally covered during the night and we are still trying to get the invaders out. I realize that the park owners do not control nature, but a little heads up would have been helpful so we could have a choice, or at least attempted to seal the places they occupied.

We only stayed one night but the office girl was very nice, helpful and courteous. Park very easy to get to off highway.

We were in a really small spot, water on the wrong side. I guess because we didn’t ask for full hookups. Lots of other open spots, seemed silly to put us crammed in. Oh well. It was only for an overnight stay, Seemed a little run down, but early in the season, so I assume they’ll be sprucing the place up. A little expensive for what we got. Staff was very friendly.

We stop here every year on our way from Florida to Idaho - Limon is the perfect distance between points. We always appreciate the welcome in the office. The pull-thru spaces are level and roomy. The bathrooms are recently remodeled and very nice. The highway noise quiets down late at night. We have probably stayed here a dozen times over the years, and expect to see you again next year.

Nice park and friendly supportive staff. Highway noise is a bit disruptive for a good nights sleep, but not impossible. Park is getting more features each time we visit.

We feel this KOA is a good place to stop for the night or spend several days here as a base camp. We felt the upgraded tent sites are worth traveling extra distance to stay here. This KOA is no secret as it is always quite busy. Reservations during the warmer months are strongly encouraged. We visited May 2024
