Would not come back or recommend this site as a tent camper. The tent sites were poor; advertised as a sand pad, not a pad at all. Had tons of weeds and a huge stump in the middle of the site. We reserved an electric site; electricity didn't work. The office closed an hour before stated online so we couldn't address this with anyone. The campground badly needs paint and updating. The cabin we stayed in was covered in dead bugs and moths, the mattress was torn, the door scrapped on the floor preventing it from opening all the way, the toliet moved when I sat on it, overall the entire campground needs TLC. We were told that new ownership has taken over and perhaps they need more time to address all the needs and find employees.

The men’s bath/shower facility had an inch or so of water covering the floor and one of two toilets was clogged with feces. Just after arrival I told the clerk at the desk that it needed attention. It was still in the same condition the following morning.

No charcoal in store. We were told that there was 2 restaurants on the premises, but then were told that neither one was open at 3pm. No cable TV. No wifi. Place needs major updates!

Needs a lot of mowing and weed clean up. Dog poop station needed to be empty and clean up areas. Only thing I can give a positive review is the roads in and out were good without pot holes.

Unfortunately we were very disappointed. The available sites were not well kept and most importantly overpriced. Usually Koa’s maintain a certain standard, we chose this location over the neighboring campground due to our experience with Koa. It was mainly a hub occupied by local construction workers. It definitely did not meet our standards and should have stayed elsewhere for a fraction of the

Limon KOA was sufficient, full hookups worked, check in went fine, pool was cold but clean. No trees really but great location near the highway. Seemed expensive since we paid $20 less in Salina KOA and had a bbq gas grill, patio, table, umbrella and chairs next to our spot and a nice pool. A bit disappointed with Limon after a great stay in Salina.

Arrive shortly before 5pm and the office was closed, website says they are open until 7pm. Sign said they were closing early. This campground has been the worst kept KOA we have stayed at. Tall weeds everywhere, gravel sites had potholes, dog park was weed filled. Difficult maneuvering in and out of campground. Luckily we were only staying one night.

The “yard” for all the sites is nothing but overgrown weeds. The “doggie” dumpsters for waste collections were overflowing and looked like they hadn’t be emptied for quite some time. The picnic tables were either warped or broken, but not useable. DEFINITELY NOT worth $67 a nite.

We only stayed one night. The weeds were all grown up around the water hydrant and sewer pipe, it looked as if maybe a few sites were grown up in the middle, all the others looked nice and clean. The laundry facilities were nice and clean.

The entire staff was kind and courteous. And friendly. Outstandingly helpful when I had an issue with my rig. I would stay there again.

Good for an overnight stay. Our site was close to dog area and people obviously did not feel the need to clean up after their dogs in route to the area. Found a few piles of doggie doo at the site which made quite smelly. We were only overnight in route so was ok but I wouldn’t stay more than a night, too many obviously living in park long term.

Friendly staff checked me in for my stay. The tiny home was more than I could have imagined. Great pizza in the office! Will definitely be back!

The Limon park was convenient for a short stay and worked well for us. It has a pool, store, and a "Bounce Pad" and other amenities. It is in the middle of the sparse eastern-Colorado farm belt. The staff was welcoming and there is a small store where we registered. The greenery was sparse with young trees. There was no fire-pit, but they did have a grill on a post and a tired picnic table.

First site no electric. WIFI unavailable, cable not working at Second site. We had to use our hotspot to watch TV and laptop. Need to check sights and extras evveryday for açcesibilities or break downs. This the reasons for our rating. We would stay again. Your KOA was clean and friendly.

Good for an overnight stop driving on the 70, but wouldn't choose to stay here. Only about 50% of the camp looks like it is maintained, rest is overrun with weeds. Sites are extremely small, width only fits a picnic table next to other sites hookups!! Bathrooms/showers were clean/updated, staff was nice. Could be a nice place if some more effort was put into it and sites were larger.

It was ok, cabin was clean but needed maintenance on shower drain and the handle on the refrigerator door was broken and a member of our party got cut. There was a lot to be desired for the upkeep of the Limon Koa Journey.

This KOA is the only game in town. It is actually fairly nice compared to a lot of other KOA‘s. It does have a pool, and the grounds are kept clean. My only complaint, is that I paid for a full hook up, but the sewer was backed up and overflowing when we got there. We were unable to dump our motorhome.

The employees were so kind to us when we encountered an awning problem. We thought we might have to extend our stay unexpectedly, but they leant us a ladder and offered to accommodate additional nights if we needed them. The facilities were in great shape. Loved seeing all the rabbits too.

Spots are really close together so no privacy. Great store and game room. Not a destination for long stays but great for overnight. Everyone there was super nice. Hopefully new owners get things turned around.

Large RV pull thrus are very skinny. What small amount of area outside our motorhome we did have was mounds of dirt, couldn’t sit in a chair. Grounds are not kept up, weeds everywhere. Unnecessary junk laying around. No definition of spaces. Dog park was a mess with trash, weeds, gates not working properly, no bags. You should be embarrassed to get 81.00 a night for this place.

Slips are not near leveled out, the wifi was sooo weak signaled you couldn't pick it up most of the time, the grounds were weed laiden, the office doesn'topen until 9AM????. Not what you would expect for $90. NEVER A SECOND TIME.

Really this place is over priced. A portion of these lots are well maintained another portion hadn’t seen a lawnmower or weed whacker in weeks. We had to take a picnic table from 2 lots over to have breakfast. No internet as advertised. No cable, if you have a dish they give you the coordinates- big whoopy. Pwr, H2O & sewer worked as promised. I ran out of characters- see my Google review

We feel this KOA is a good place to stop for the night or spend several days here as a base camp. We felt the upgraded tent sites are worth traveling extra distance to stay here. This KOA is no secret as it is always quite busy. Reservations during the warmer months are strongly encouraged. We visited May 2024
