Kirsten and Laci, are always so professional, amazingly nice, and the entire campground is so nice, and clean. Mostly because of Will who keeps grounds very nice. We traverse many times between Denver and Jennings Kansas every year. At our age its just hard to make that trip nonstop. So This is perfect place to stop.

We’ve stayed here multiple times and will continue to when our travel schedule allows. Park/facilities is clean and staff is very friendly. Limon itself is ok. There are some junky areas outside the park that take away from it just a bit but not a deterrent to staying here.

Absolutely LOVE my time at the Limon Journey KOA. Kirsten is an awesome communicator and was available the entire time. The cabins are adorable and perfect for a place to lay your head. The porch swing is a great to enjoy a cup of coffee and relax. The fact that there are 2 dog parks and lots of rabbits to bark at makes this a great place to let the pup stretch their legs after long car rides. A++

Great campground with nice amenities, including a HUGE fenced dog area, that allowed our 75 pound Shepherd Husky mix to have a good turn and walk before getting back on the road again. The owner/manager was a Great help to us newbies to rving, especially in cold weather. I highly recommend this place!!

Overnight stay so we only used hook-ups and front dog park which is very nice.

My family stayed for one night here. Our 3 young kids loved the park! Our 3 dogs also loved the dog park. The bathrooms and laundry were nice. Laundry was a bit expensive at nearly $6 for one load. Also the showers were okay. The water pressure in the handicap stall was nonexistent. The water in the other showers was hot but the water sprayed too much like a mister that it was hard to get wet.

The host was VERY helpful and friendly. She was thoughtful in placing us in a parking location that fit perfectly with what we wanted and also with consideration for my driving ability to get into and out of the spot. My only disappointment is that the Liquid Propane filling station was not operational. During winter in Colorado, LP is not a luxury. It is a necessity for heat.

Super and friendly staff. Lots of work has been done on the entire property. Sites have been upgraded from even a year ago. If you haven't stopped by in a while, I recommend that you do so once again - however, leave a spot for us :).

Great Overnight Stay, close to interstate. Info was ready and waiting for us as we checked in late. Excellent Dog Park.

We arrived around 1:30 pm and no one was in the office. I searched the grounds for 20 minutes and found no one. I finally picked a site for my RV and began setting up camp. I finally saw a young woman and asked her if she worked here. She said yes and I asked her if anyone was going to open the office. I went in to register, but the manager was not very congenial.

Nice place, mostly shut down with Winter coming. Showers were not clean with hair stuck to the stall walls.

Very pleased. Like the hours you are open! We are cabin users and your small cabins are clean, and serve the purpose! The showers could be a little more clean; but it’s all good. Will always stay when traveling through!

This KOA was a good stopover, supported by friendly staff and clean facilities. While access was easy, we will request a site farther away from the busy highway for our next stay.

Great place. The cabin floor was full of dead bugs. There was a broom there. Dog parks awesome. I had to dust a few surfaces.

Weird location overall but the KOA itself was very nice. We had a clean cabin with heat and the bathrooms had been carefully cleaned. Friendly and helpful staff!

RV pads are rock and there is no sewer hook ups. It’s ok for a one night stay over.

We feel this KOA is a good place to stop for the night or spend several days here as a base camp. We felt the upgraded tent sites are worth traveling extra distance to stay here. This KOA is no secret as it is always quite busy. Reservations during the warmer months are strongly encouraged. We visited May 2024
