Our campground is an excellent base camp for your Black Hills vacation. Many unforgettable Black Hills attractions are only a 6 - 80 mile drive from here. Or drive a little further and make a day trip out of it to also take in Devil's Tower or the Badlands.

The Mammoth Site

The Mammoth site is one of the world's greatest fossil treasures. On-going paleontology dig that has been seen on "Raising the Mammoth" on the Discovery Channel. www.mammothsite.com

Black Hills Wild Horse Sanctuary

Windcross Conservancy

An 18-hole golf course located just outside of the town of Hot Springs. This course is one of the top rated courses in the United States.

Cascade Falls

Wind Cave National Park

Mount Rushmore

Crazy Horse Mountain Memorial

A mountain carving in progress that dwarfs Mount Rushmore. Is carving has a 90' high face that as dedicated in June 1995 which marked the memorial's 50th anniversay. In addition, there is an indian museum and a collection of the sculpture's work. www.crazyhorsememorial.org

Bear Country USA

A drive thru wildlife park where bear, elk, wolves, buffalo and other wildlife are roaming free in their natural habitat. They also offer a walk-thru "babyland" featuring baby animals. bearcountryusa.com

Reptile Gardens

Wounded Knee National Historic Landmark

The Wounded Knee massacre happened on December 29, 1890 on the Pine Ridge Reservation. All that is left of this landmark is a small cemetary.

Badlands National Park

People are drawn to the rugged beauty of the Badlands. These geologic deposits contain one of the world's richest fossil beds. Ancient mammals such as the rhino, horse, and saber-toothed cat once roamed here. The park's 244,000 acres protect an expanse of mixed-grass prairie where bison, bighorn sheep, deer, pronghorn, prairie dogs, and black-footed ferrets live today
