WE were a "late" arrival. There were no sign-in envelopes at the kiosk. The following morning we had no trouble getting everything cleared up at the front desk. We were told the wind had blown the informatioin away during a rain storm the night before. Quiet, shady camp area. Very clean and tidy!

Great place to stay when visiting Mammoth Cave. EAsy in, easy out.

When we arrived from Colorado, they had given away the pull thru spot I had reserved months in advance. Will avoid KOA in future.

Stayed in a 5th wheel camper, site #64. Full shade, full hook-up. Site, showers, laundry facility, and the entire campground is clean as a whistle. Attended Heritage Festival in Horse Cave while I was here and had a wonderful time! September 2012.

koa rates are getting to high to be competitive. koa is now not my only consideration for camping.

Our stay was not what we expected. We missed being shown to our campsite and garbage pick up. The map of the sites were not as the KOA was laid out and it was confusing. Mosquitoes were very bad and a nut fell hitting one of us hard on the head. Each morning I had to pick up nuts daily. It was very loud from the road and the sewer and potable water hook up was right next to each other. Not good.

Although it rained during out stay, will come again.

Everyone was very nice, the young lady who was on shift Saturday night was a sweet heart, and she introduced me and my girlfriend to Baby, the deer and that made our trip much more memorable! Thank you for the best experience camping this year!

The room was filthy when we got there. Cobwebs dirty shower dirty toilet stains on the mattress cover. If it was clean it would have been awesome.

it would be nice to have cable tv. a great location for camp ground

No 50 amp sites that will accomodate large motorhomes. All sites with 50amp are ok for 5th wheels and maybe travel trailers but due to slope not for large motorhomes. 30 amp site I ended up in was good.

I was disappointed at this KOA because of the un-level sites. It was difficult to park.

The cabin was clean enough, however, the shower head needed to be replaced as you just got a stream of water on you and the bathroom needed a new toilet and wall repair.

Staff was friendly. Wifi was completely out of reach at our site Had problems with e sewer, they did come out to fix it so that was a plus. They had expired food on the shelf that I was getting ready to pay for until I noticed it was expired. Turns out all the boxes do pancake mix were expired. Pool water was green. While the staff was nice, we will not be back.

I had 3 "Kabins" this weekend. Kabin#3 was dirty. It was obvious that the bed had not been pulled out and cleaned in months. It is funny that I stayed in the same exact Kabin#3 last year and the water leaked on the floor when you ran the sink. One year later, still not fixed! We like to stay there because it is nice to sit/talk on porch and talk w/ big group. Very iffy we come back.

We had a great time at the KOA at Horse Cave. The staff were friendly and helpful, our tent site had a beautiful view, and the facilities were clean and convenient. The location is easy to find and very close to Mammoth Cave.

The 50 AMP sites are so out of level that we could not park in them.

We stayed in the upper part. It was one of the prettiest KOA campgrounds we have been in. Thanks

Everything was great, level campsite with water and electric close to the showers since we have a pop-up camper. Cordial and nice people running the facility warm and welcoming.

We enjoyed our stay very much. Staff was alway helpful. This is an older campground with many new additions and upgrades. The rustic feel makes you want to stay longer and return again.

The kids (9, 8, 6, & 4 yrs) had plenty to do between chasing animals around, swimming, mini-putt and searching for edible plants. The bathrooms were clean, hand dryer was broken, but I don't expect a hand-dryer while camping anyway. Friendly, well-kept, nice view of the hills/farm at site T3!!

We had a fantastic time, loved the campground and the friendly people. Rebecca saved the day when we broke our door handle 1/2 an hr before we had to be on a cave tour. We came back and she had it working, she was super helpful! Thanks rebecca! :-)

My sister's and I stayed at Horse Cave KOA 8/5/12 thru 8/10/12. The cabin was clean and roomy. The KOA employees were very nice and helpful. I would definatly recommend this KOA to my family and friends and I look forward to staying there again!

The entire cave area is suffering from the current economic crisis. Too many empty and abandoned shops and stores. Hope for a turn around soon. The traffic noise is nearly unbearable!! (Semi's at 70+mph)
