We loved our stay in the Horsecave KOA treehouse #1. Nicely decorated & clean. BUT I slept on the couch, and was kept awake by itching.I assumed a mosquito had gotten in & was attacking me. I awoke with 13 bites but they are diff than mosquito bites. They itch more like tick bites, but my research says they’re likely bedbug bites since in a line or zigzag. The ground at my tent site was pretty rocky and it was hard to find a place to set up where the stakes would go in.

Property clean, bathrooms need to be stocked in evening. By 10 pm half of the bathrooms were out of toilet paper. Highway produces a lot of noise pollution. Air conditioning not strong enough to keep up with summer temps- possibly add a fan?

Staff was friendly, everything was clean and neat. The campsites are very small, we could barely get our camper in it. There was not much room to set outside in front of campsite.

The campground has very nice facilities. However the trailer campsites are not particularly desirable. The lots are poorly laid out. The glamping choices are fantastic. After 4 nights the noise level from the constant truck traffic traveling the highway did get to me.

I booked a site with a cement pad and patio and it got switched to a site that was unsatisfactory. We weren't told of the change until we arrived. This is totally unacceptable and bad customer service. We should have gotten what we paid for.

Tv did not work in the cabins. They knew they had issues with their internet but were not upfront with the issue and were not able to fix the issue or not willing to do it.

Site was so uneven I needed a step stool to reach the step on my RV. Tires were off the ground on both sides. Fire pit had burned trash in it, 2 washing machines down, 2 dryers and 1 was down.

Our site was a little tricky to back into but we made it work. Big curb to get the trailer over. Also had a severe thunderstorm roll through overnight during our stay. Lot of tree debris fell on our camper during storm and was all over campground next morning. My suggestion is to trim your trees as there is alot of dead limbs in the trees and there could have been alot of damage if more fell.

The fire pit was full of trash, water and leaves, The bathrooms were not very clean. The pool was not open as long as the sign stated. Other than that it was pretty nice.

We paid for a pull thru site that was down 2 hills from the showers and restrooms and UNLEVEL and so severely sloped that we couldn’t come close to level even when letting out all the air in the front air bags and leaving the rear inflated. We ended up having to drive to the bathroom and being handicapped didn’t help at all either. No way to walk had to drive each time

Staff was helpful and attentive. Although near to the highway, traffic noise was not significant. Showers and Bathrooms are great, very well kept and cleaned regularly and well. The downside was there was no grills available for the firepit nor a designated BBQ. If you intend to cook on the fire, make sure to bring your own grill.

Very nice campground with nice amenities and lots to do. The bathrooms were pretty dirty but that happens with a lot of people. The campground was packed!! We will be back!!

Everything about our stay was great. The tree house cabin was much nicer than even they pictures online. There were plenty of towels, and the view was amazing. We would stay again. Some umbrellas or shade at the putt putt would be a nice addition. Thanks for a great stay!

Campsite 31 is the equivalent to parking along a median strip. Barely had enough room to safely open our slide out without worrying about it being hit by a passing vehicle. The opposite side is an embankment with another road at the bottom of it. If it wasn't for the playground for our granddaughter, I would have given it a 1 star.

The vacation was good. The kids loved the pool and the jump pillow. We rented the duplex my family one side and my mom and dad the other. We paid $2,800 together for 5 days. The first day we discovered broken chair, dishwasher, lights, ceiling fan, broken rails, broken step, water leaking from the shower down to the kitchen. Nothing was fixed while we were there. I would not recommend.

I am sorry for your unpleasant stay. You only told us about the dishwasher in witch the pump went out the rest was sent by an email after you checked out.We addressed what you made us aware of.

The site we had was all gravel and very slopped. We were not able to get our RV level. It was right off the interstate so there was some traffic noise. I don’t think we would stay for more than one night. Staff was very nice and property was very well maintained.

Very nice staff, clean showers/restrooms. But nothing is level - its not a campsite if its +/- 5° off in both directions. I get the entire camp is built into a hill - but its a ZERO stars as a campground if you can't level the sites. At least close to level. (Our RV autoleveler reported the site as too dangerous to even attempt leveling!!!)

Everyone was extremely helpful, we had problem figuring out the air in the teepee, the staff worked with us till we got it figured out. I would highly recommend staying here. We will definitely be back.

Loved staying in the covered wagon!!!! The restrooms were so clean!! Loved the atmosphere of the campground!! Will definitely be back!!! Office staff were so nice!!

This was our 2nd KOA stay.we were on the bottom row which is highly subjective to truck noise from I-65. The bottom row is gravel with a steel fire pit and steel picnic table. The full hook ups was the only thing nice about our spot which was 087. Not as level as it could be and some guy was running a big blower back and forth on the parking area. Not a restful situation for us.

Site #35 - we stayed in our 44ft fifth wheel. Site very unlevel, tires were about 6 inches off the ground on passenger side. Camper stairs land at edge of road. Couldn't use awnings. Thankful we don't have children we needed to worry about walking out of the camper and almost directly into the "road." Park was nice and clean, especially the showers.

During our stay we had damaging weather come through, I wish the team here had a way to notify guests or a way to come to every site and tell the guest what’s happening. I also don’t think your filter on your pool is working right, the pool was very cloudy. Other wise everything was as expected.

What an amazing, relaxing stay! We were in the area visiting family and decided to splurge and stay in the treehouse cabin. I didn't want to leave!!! Beautiful views at sunset, tons of outdoor space, and stunning interior. Lots for kids to do. (I had to try the jumping pillow for myself! Highly recommend!) The staff are so sweet, especially Lisa. Places like this are why we stay at KOAs and not hotels! Can't beat it!

Had a really nice, level site. Great amenities and the bathrooms are top notch! Only issue we had was with the internet/TV connection. We wound up using our phones as mobile hot spots to watch tv....
