The staff were so kind and welcoming. They were very knowledgeable about the campground and were super informative when we asked questions. The grounds were really well maintained and beautiful. The restrooms were clean and cleaned often. The pool was area was inviting and staff let us know when it was time to clean the pool and get it ready for the next day! Even our dog had a great time!

We had a wonderful stay at the Hayward KOA. Everyone had so much fun and there was so much to do. The kids really enjoyed the pool and trampoline. All the employees were great, especially the gentleman that drop off firewood. They were both so nice and stopped to chat with us about the weather and answer our kids questions about the golf carts. We had a great time and can’t wait to come back!

The facility is very nice with trees between sites. The amenities for families is outstanding and everything is well kept. It was quiet at night and we had a very relaxing stay.

Very busy campground but, seemed like staff was keeping up with the flow. Staff was very attentive to our needs. Pool was clean and very inviting. Good communication. We’ll definitely come back.

We had an amazing stay as always! I’ve been coming since I was a kid and now I bring mine. The staff in charge of taking care of and cleaning the campground kept everything looking wonderful and we’re so friendly and helpful. There’s so many fun things to do to keep the kids entertained. 10 out of 10

We stayed for 1 week and it was peaceful for us. Friendly staff, liked the conveinence of honeywagon for one's without full hook-ups. Wish it came as part of the lot rental, but realize what making profit is in all business. Thanks for a great annual vacation. Next time we'll have to bring the grandkids.

We stayed primarily for the location. The site we had was extremely helpful as we were close to the entrance and to the showers/bathrooms.

The sites are way to close together with way too many trees. There is no grass. There is also no space next to your camper for any outside activities. And the trees...way to many, you can barely get your slides out and forget your awning. Also, getting out of your spot with that many tress is impossible. No where for people to park so they park on the road and right next to your fire pit.

The Hawyard KOA was disappointing. The spots are very very close together with no play room or privacy. While there are many activities, most of them are extra. If you want to play candy bar bingo you need to bring your own candy bar. The "DJ" dance was a worker trying to play songs off her phone on pandora and kept getting commercials. Don't forget the 7am text on a Sunday thanking us for stay.

This is a great family campground. There is plenty for a young family. Very clean and a very friendly staff. It felt safe and accommodating for young children and dogs.

This is a great place for families with kids, an unending playground. (If you're looking for solitude, lakes and trees, go to a state or national forest.) The facilities sparkle from the care given! The staff is extremely accommodating to fit your wishes. We had reserved online, didn't care for the site--and without question were given a different location. Five star camping resort!

We enjoyed our stay. It would be great if the pool opened earlier in the morning (8am-9am vs 10:30am), to add better signs/markings for where to wait for the pick up after tubing, and to reduce the wait time for that pick up (it was not busy during mid week, yet both times we had to wait 25-30 minutes).

Staff are friendly and hospitable. If there is a concern, they are on top of it right away. Cleanliness is top notch! Lots of things to do and nice shop. Nice to have a cafe on site. Quiet hours are adhered to! Poop bags and trash cans and fenced in pet area are nice. You are all great!!

Neighbors were very loud much past the quiet time. Staff came about 12:00 midnight to tell them to be quiet.. Rest of camp experience was great.

We always have a good time staying here. Only a few complaints. Someone parked in our spot, had to call and they sent someone to check. He had to go search for the people. There was a dog across the way (#77) that barked at everyone and another that sounded like it was in the last row. No refunds on the water slide-daughter was excited, bought an all day pass, went one time, didn’t like it at al

We were there for my daughter's 5th birthday & so many people on the KOA team made sure to wish her a happy birthday! She had a donut & some toys delivered to our campsite for her birthday & also received a free ice cream cone. It was wonderful how special she was made to feel! We're yearly guests of the campground but this was the first year we came over her bday weekend. It's 1 she won't forget!

The staff were all incredibly friendly and the campground was very nice. The only reason I didn’t give it 5-stars is that I wish you could buy a wristband for the water slide for your entire stay or that it was included in the stay cost. As a family of 4 it got to be really expensive. Other than that, the campground was awesome and we look forward to returning next summer (already booked!)

Check in felt different this year. We arrived at noon. We were told we couldn’t check in until 1. She said our site wasn’t clean. I was told we had to leave as there wasn’t any where for us to park a unit of our size. We left. When we did come back, I wanted to use my $25 KOA reward credit. She forgot. So had to a credit on my card. I didn’t have her full attention. Sat tractor ride-slow

It was okay. I don't know if we would be back. It was so cramped, we have never been to a campground where the campers have been packed in so tight! That was hard for us. Also, golf course falling apart, pool was too small for that many people. I'm sure they make enough money to make some upgrades. Bathrooms and sites were clean!

Our stay was good, the KOA staff was very nice. But there was way to many barking dogs. The policy of “barking dogs will not be tolerated.” Was not enforced.

We got there late on Thursday night and the front desk was friendly people however we got wristbands and nobody really told us what they were for. The second day we checked in our daughter and grandkids and we had to ask what the wristbands were for and they were not so friendly. Overall most of the staff did seem helpfull.

Me and my family have been camping three years in a row. We all love it and love the staff here! From doing events almost every weekend to movie nights and a nice playground and pool. The campsites are very nice and the cabins are cozy and comfortable! Are daughter makes new friends every year as well is me and my fiancé we couldn't imagine camping anywhere else the hayward koa is very much like home to us and very family friendly

If you're looking for a well kept, family friendly, pet friendly, camping location, the Hayward KOA is the perfect stop. My family and I had an unforgettable experience this last weekend and we are so excited to go back in just a few weeks!

KOA Hayward is a great campground! There are plenty of things to do to keep you busy and help is always around the corner. The staff are friendly, the playgrounds are nice, the slide is fun, the bouncing pillow is always fun, and everything is just great! I really enjoyed the tall pine trees that were throughout the campground. They prove to be a little more challenging to navigate around with the camper, however, I'd rather navigate the tall trees then bake in the sun! It's a great campground that we will be returning to for years to come!
