Very very very small sites. One vehicle per site means one vehicle per site, although we couldn’t even park our own truck at our camp site - and we only have a 32’ camper. Super small fire pits. Mossy/dirty pond.

I especially enjoyed the abundance of pretty flowers and green spaces at the site and throughout the park. Our site was level and utilities were setup very well. The water spigots were up off the ground. Power was clean and grounded. It had breakers in a covered box as it should be. The folks we spoke to in the office were courteous and knowledgeable. We enjoyed shopping and dining in the area.

The reservations and check in were great. The lady at the office that helped me went out of her way to be accommodating. The trash dumpsters were right as you drove in and the front entrance was less than desirable. Our spot was just water and electric and the spot was very unlevel and the fire pit was in a location that you would have to set by the road to use it.

We greatly enjoyed our time here! Our campsite was tucked back and fairly quiet, the fishing pond was great, staff was friendly and very helpful. The pool was very clean and so were the main restrooms. The restrooms closest to our campsite were not dirty, but were in need of some upkeep. Overall, a great stay!

First time stay at Elkhart Co./Middlebury KOA. Sites were clean and well maintained. Our escort to our site was very good. Only complaint would be the bathrooms (Male & Female). They were not horrible but, could have used a could cleaning. There was dirt on the shower shelving that had been there for some time. Also smelled like floor had been wiped with a dirt mop. We would stay again.

Facilities are tired & need a refresh! Sites were good. Dump station caused a delay as too tight to pass & go around.

We reserved 30 amps/120 volt site.98 degrees outside. We plugged into pedestal and nothing worked. Checked pedestal power & was at 106 volts and went down to 98 when we plugged in.We checked two other sites which had 116 volts. Talked to manager several times who told us nothing he could do and we should pack up and move to a smaller site. We ended up running our 2 cords to a site across street.

We only stayed one night, but it was pleasant, the spot was easy to get into even for a large 5th wheel. The staff was friendly and helpful.

30 amp electric did not work properly. Site was too small for our rig. Branches overhead at site damaged our roof.

Nice campground!

Just an overnight stay. Clean and well organized. We have a big rig so the site was a little tight, but we had no problems parking or exiting.

The staff was all very nice and helpful. The site was very nice and a good size campground to walk around. The pool was lovely. The real issue was it needs updating. The grounds seem a little unkempt. Hope this is helpful to you.

Great campground! Only place we stay I Middlebury area.

Incredibly noisy with trucks and their brakes.
Aug 25, 2023
We stayed 2 nights, water/electric, back-in, 30 amp. Nice size lot and shade on our sight. Park was clean, staff very friendly. Road noise from highway, but we will come back.

Our site (38) had a basketball sized hornets nest right above our camper that we noticed after setting up and it was very active! Went back to office to bring this to their attention and they said they were aware. Offered one other sight but tree branches were so low would have damaged roof of rig. We were there 6 nights and many empty sites available that would have worked. Very unfriendly staff.

Pleasant stay, campsites are a little tight. Bathroom was pleasant & clean but a bees’ nest under the dishwashing station made campers uneasy -reported it & they tried unsuccessfully to rid them. Traffic noise depending on where your site is - need earplugs for a good sleep. Enjoyed the Klip-Klop of horse & buggies, though! Clean pool & nice landscaping-flowers! Friendly & courteous staff!

This KOA campground in Indiana was a lovely surprise on what could have otherwise been a disappointing spring break. After our initial plans to head south and Camp with another family were cancelled due to severe thunderstorms, we looked into what else was open for camping closer to the great lakes area, and found this campground. A couple calls later and we were all set and arrived and I have a hard time putting into words how wonderful the staff is. They're genuinely friendly and very helpful! Fortunately the campground was nearly empty and we were able to get two nice sites together so we could be next to our camping friends and we all had a great time. While tent camping would probably be OK too, our small travel trailer was perfect. There were some HUGE travel trailers there, quite possibly the biggest I've seen. But there are a lot of pull-through sites to accommode that and all the sites have a mostly-level drive. There are cabins too but we didn't look into the details of those. The kids enjoyed riding bikes up and down the camp road, and there was a little pond which offered license-free catch-and-release fishing. I was not prepared for this (and even more surprised when my son said he wanted to put down his electronics and go fishing with his friends!) so I had to drive a few miles into town and buy a rod and hooks and worms at a local sports shop. My son even caught his first fish! And our friends daughter stayed occupied catching garter snakes. Not that I'm a huge outdoorsman, but it was a very nice parent moment to see all the kids off their electronics participating in nature. There's restaurants and a great donut shop nearby and lots of horse and buggy traffic from the local Amish population. This was nice as it gave us a chance not to gawk, but rather to discuss with our children about different lifestyle choices and possible rewards/challenges associated with that, and hopefully instilled some acceptance of other people's choices. There are a couple nice hiking trails on the campground as well. They're perfect for just taking a stroll through the woods with one little hill to contend with, and a little minigolf course for the kiddos to play on a bit. There is also a fenced in dog run for Fido to do his business off-leash, just please pick up after your pet. I cleaned a lot of old dog-logs just so I/my dog didn't step in it, and was rather irritated that dog owners wouldnt have done that themselves. I imagine in high summer when the campground is packed, it might not be as ideal for a quiet camping trip, but that also opens up more chance for social interaction and those quirky little temporary camp friendships that kids are so adept at creating, so I bet it'd still be fun, just in a different way. Overall I recommend this KOA (more than any other KOA or certain picnic basket stealing bear campgrounds I've been to in the past!), and will likely return, even if theres no other cancelation to drive the necessity. It was just a good time.

We recently had the pleasure of staying at this wonderful campground, and couldn't be more thrilled with our experience! From the moment we arrived, we were greeted by the warm and welcoming staff who went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. One of the highlights of our trip was the spacious dog park. It was great to find a campground that truly values its four-legged guests. For families with children, this campground is an absolute dream. The variety of activities available can keep kids entertained for hours. The campground was well-maintained, our pull thru site was level and clean. Overall, our experience at this campground exceeded our expectations. A huge thank you to the staff for their hospitality and for providing such a fantastic environment for families and pets alike!
