I enjoyed it! Animals were cute. We didn't take advantage of all the amenities because it was just a place to sleep. I loved the shower! Everything was clean!

They were friendly. Store well stocked. Bathrooms were awesome. Only downside is the blinding light from a lamppost which lit up our tent all night. I had to fetch my eyeshades to get any sleep.

Great host. Very helpful. Thanks! The bathrooms are great. Feels like in a hotel. Our spot was very small, but it was ok for one night in the van.

Loved the campground and the unique layout up the hillside!! Bathroom and showers were clean and made our experience more comfortable!! Will highly recommend to family and friends!!

Very friendly staff, very helpful, we absolutely love this campground and hope to come back next year, our spot was absolutely perfect for what we needed. Price was very reasonable, very clean showers and bathrooms. Everthing about this campground was just perfect

Very unique layout in such an amazing area. Quiet cozy feel. Great bathrooms. The goats and donkey are a plus. Would go back again for sure.

I enjoyed the stay. I liked the trolly to Deadwood, the food truck and the live entertainment. Backing up a motorcycle in the gravel parking lot can be a challenge. Pavement would be nice. I hope to see you next year.

Very nice place. Plenty of shade, clean restrooms and the owners really go out of the way to make sure your stay is the best it can be.

We have been staying in Deadwood off and on over the Decades. Never had a problem and always had a good time!

Had a great stay. very close to Dead Wood! nice store and very nice family run place. the showers are powerful, it will wake you up in a hurry!!!

Luke and his Father are the absolute best host! Friendly, helpful, informative, accommodating. The campground it is an absolute gem. Spotless clean and the facilities are top notch. I had leave but because of how great this KOA is I wanted to stay another night. This KOA should be awarded # 1 in the USA. Thank you guys!! I will be back.

We very much enjoyed our stay here. Very kid friendly the camp dog Kolby was a huge hit with our kids the petting zoo and playground gave them something to do. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The only complaint we would have been the shower/bathroom combo they are very nice bathroom, but it would be nice to have just a bathroom up there when all showers were being used. Thank You

Very cute little campground. Staff was friendly! Loved the goats and donkey and German shepherd that live there. Bathrooms were very nice and very clean. Sinks leaked in women's room. Trolley to downtown was very handy. Only complaint was our tent site was number 8 and it was right next to the entrance, also the highway. So it was loud and windy. Not a very good spot for a tent.

Absolutely friendly and clean campground! Anything we needed, they had in the store at decent prices. The bathrooms and showers were fantastic and very clean. The campsites are laid out in a very useful way that promotes interactions with new people and was a great way to pass the time.

What a nice check in and well maintained facility everything is so clean and put together. The ladies working are really helpful and glad to offer advice and places to visit and every time you turn around another blonde sister is falling out of the ceiling to help you.

Beautiful well maintained property! Very clean and private "remodeled" bathrooms. Sites were close and not as secluded as we are used to in Wisconsin, but we had plenty of room for our large tent with attached screened porch. Viewed one of their cabins and I was surprised how much room they had to sleep 4. Water conveniently close. I missed having a campfire in campsite! Not available.

We had a wonderful stay and would absolutely recommend to anyone! The hosts were amazing and incredibly helpful/welcoming. We will definitely be staying here again the next time we are in the area.

We have stayed at many KOAs over the last 10 years. Deadwood/Black Hills takes top prize! The absolute best restrooms anywhere. The owners are amazing, warm, friendly, inviting, helpful. I cannot stress how this is the best campground of all KOAs we have ever stayed at. Clean. Beautiful surroundings. Just the best.

Peaceful, beautiful and very friendly staff. For future, facilities are fantastic but maybe more bathrooms as those taking showers us the bathroom a little longer leaving those that just need to use the simple toilet w/o. Will for surely look at staying here again. :)

The camp site is way to small and no fire pit. Wanted to stay a extra night but with no fire pit I was out of there.

Nice KOA, set up well, easy to access. Has all the hookups, multiple settings. Tent, cabin, campers and trailers and 5th wheel. Great view.

Whenever we're in the Black Hills for the Sturgis rally or just visiting we always stay here. The CG is now under new management but they seem to be doing a terrific job. This time we were tent camping in a site we last camped in back in 2013. I always recommend this place to friends, and those seeking a place to camp while in the "Hills." They also feature a trolley that takes you into Deadwood and brings you back.
