This was a horrible experience at this KOA. Sylvia does not care about the safety of her guests whatsoever. I’m a single female traveler. I asked to be refunded for my stay due to uncomfortable situations going on (creepy men by my campsite). She didn’t care to ask what’s going on or if she could move me… she simply said you can leave but I won’t refund you your money.

First time staying at a KOA and my children had a great time. My favorite part was seeing them all make new friends for the weekend. The facilities were great and the shaded tent camping spots are a good size.

The men's restroom next to office is generally clean. However, my last stay I found that no one had cleaned the restroom since 6 PM the night before. I would recommend !. Someone be assigned to clean the restroom between 9:00 and 10:00 PM every night. 2. You install a paper towel dispenser (in addition to the the existing hand dryer) to allow campers to wipe off the sink tops.

My stay was supperb although I was a little sad that we were not able to use tent on the cabins. Acording to the flyer only RVs are not to have tents, and on the info paper does not say cabins too. Never-the-less we still did have a supperb time and will come back again! Staff was fantastic & helpful. The place is safe & clean. I suggest having umbrellas with KOA logo for survenier & mugs.

The new bounce pad and the playground were very fun for my kids. The mini golf course had been updated as well to be in good condition. Our camp site had good shade on hot days and the pool was a good way to cool down. It wasn't crowded, so we played without feeling cramped. Our deluxe site swing had loose boards and some deluxe sites had a grill over the fire pit, but not ours. Still fun,

Camped in a tent. Nice and clean campground but noisy with car traffic if camping in a tent.

If babies were not crying throughout the whole night (every hour or so) stay would be perfect. Hosts are great and very welcoming, professional, everything is well organized and maintained. Great place to stay. Maybe been next to the main road is not a perfect location but that bothers only those in the tents and maybe it would be better to switch tents and RV because they have better isolation

Great site for a quick weekend trip if you are in the Chicago area, pool is great, new carpet on the putt putt, great play grounds, fun jump pad, level tent sites, super clean facilities, lots of scheduled activities, and just overall a fantastic time for us and the little ones.

The campground was very clean. The staff was very kind and helpful. The planned activities were fun for the kids. I would suggest more rule abiding for dog owners. Many of the dogs we passed did not seem friendly and were loud.

Such a great place for kids! Our 6 and 9 year old have so much fun playing on the jumping pad, the playground and participating in the activities. We will definitely be back!

The staff were very friendly and the grounds were kept nicely. My only complaint was neighbors weren’t respectful of quiet hours and the road noise made it difficult to sleep.

I love that you are located away from the city but still close enough to local grocery store and restaurants. Owners are so nice. We always have something fun to do while we are there.
