We arrived late (with notice - Chicago traffic delayed us 2 hours!). We kept in contact with the campground arrived late as planned with Sabrina ( super nice and friendly) greeting us with a smile, guiding us to our spot, then after making sure we were OK recommended a nice place to eat in Union, Ill ( Checkers). I would highly recommend this campground! It's near the Illinois Railroad Museum.

Thank you for the shady campsite you moved me to for my 3 night stay! A van with no AC was best in the shady spot, many thanks! The campground and restrooms were wonderful.

Bob and the entire staff made us feel welcomed from the moment we arrived. We were promptly greeted and taken to our site and then we had the option of texting for anything we needed. The campground was well maintained and beautiful. We will be back!

Realeasy check in. Personnel were very nice. Had good deal on firewood. Thwwy delivered it right to the site. It also burned real well.We had good site with plenty of room. There were events and things to do. Its a well maintained place. They continuously cleaned the sites. Even shoveled out the ash from the fire pits. The pool was open. Very happy with this KOA. Most important was we arrived late, after 11:00 pm, and the manager met up with us to show us to our site. That was awesome since it was hard to get too. Then he came around the next day and wanted to make sure everything was good. The shower was nice, don’t know about bathrooms or pool.

The entrance/ exit is not safe with it only being wide enough for one vehicle. Having a 37 foot trailer we can't just back up... we also would have liked a different site where the neighbors water and electric was not in the middle of our site. Otherwise we plan to come back! It is a small campgrounds but very nice and everyone is very friendly and helpful.

Overall outstanding. This is our go-to KOA for Chicago. The only problem we had was the sewer connection, which was not actually connected to the ground. When I reported, I did not get a satisfactory answer, and ended up having to use rocks to keep the line together while dumping. Otherwise I would give 5 stars.

An absolutely amazing campground!!! The staff is friendly, attentive and highly visible. The amenities are fabulous. The campsites, especially the premium and prairie view sites are well worth the extra cost and for how big it is it is very quiet. It is clean and there is absolutely nothing negative to say.

Very dog friendly. Showers and bathrooms always maintained. The staff was very pleasant. Check in was easy and was guided to your site. Nice to have text notifications on up coming events for the day

I’m a nomad and prefer rustic camping environments, however, I do have a KOA membership and stay at koa’s fairly regularly for the amenities. I don’t have a shower in my van and, have to say, the bath/shower facilities are first rate! They were sparkling clean and the water pressure was outstanding. Even if you have your own facilities in your RV, I’m confident they aren’t this good!

Site was quite unlevel, we could not get level. LOTS of pit bull dog breeds. We read they were not welcome. I feel the KOA’s should adhere to that rule or eliminate it when it comes to the dog breeds. However we had a nice time and will be back. Hopefully to a more level site.

Loved it. We'll definately be back - Great spots and friendly staff. We don't have kids, but there was plenty to do for them and yet, it was still a peaceful relaxing experience.

We had a lovely pull through site with a patio, a huge firepit, a dining table/chairs and a wooden porch swing. Clean restrooms/showers and ice and firewood delivered to your site are just a few of the great amenities offered here. Although we don't have kids it appeared there were plenty of family activities available on site. This is a beautiful property with a friendly staff. We will be back

We enjoyed staying here, very relaxing. The staff was kind and helpful, with a smile! The site was average sized, very clean, nice grass lawn and lovely flower box, lit up at night! We would surely return if we get back up there from NC again! Comment: some people drive TOO FAST! Hope some way this can be addressed. Thank you for a very happy week with you!

This campground has a really nice layout. The staff there are super nice. And the bathrooms are checked several times a day for cleanliness and stock.

I love that you are located away from the city but still close enough to local grocery store and restaurants. Owners are so nice. We always have something fun to do while we are there.

We went the last week of September and was a blast for the kids since they has a lot of activities related with Halloween. Kids had a lot of fun. We had an excellent spot for our trailer. Bathroom are clean.
